If there is a next time, I will request the unit be checked in right away, while I am there. The man informed me he would check it in after lunch and I would receive an email once it was done. I received the email the following day....

Time of pickup was not correct. When the pick up was finally accepted the computers were down. The person who originally offered me a storage unit was 80 miles from residence and they wanted me to drop off the Uhaul in Tucson. The person who finally helped me in the end did a wonderful job and even called the storage unit on a Sunday and and spoke to the sister of the owner. Then on Monday she called to the storage place to make sure was ok. Unfortunately l don't remember her name. I want to thank her and l hope you can relay this to her manager. The male in store rep had a poor attitude. When I requested the full 24 hours for the rental he said alright fine with a poor tone. It lessened the overall expirerence for me but didn't ruin it. The other store rep was good as well as the phone rep.

I was in and out of there really fast. I was asked if I had replaced the gas I used, and I said yes. I again failed to mention the discrepancy between the contract and actual gas gauge reading.

Although not the fault of the pickup location, it was a considerable distance away from where I wanted/needed to pickup the truck and where I was led to believe the truck would be.

Don't know why you charging mileage on local rentals when Customer is filling the tank as well. Some people don't have that kind of money. This is a change you've made since the last time I rented from you and I think it's a shame. Will be looking into your competitor next time I am in need of a truck

I was not happy. My reservation was for 1230 pick up. When i got to the store it was closed. I had to wait till 1 for the person to return. Lunch stated 1130. I lost time having to wait for the location to open then having to sign paperwork. I was suppose to use my phone too just pick up. But that option was not available at that location

Truck was clean, staff was courteous. However, there was a mix-up with the pick up times. I arranged for it to be at 12:30 with central dispatch on the phone. Arrived to find that it was routinely closed from noon to 1 for lunch. Communication between site and central booking needs to be improved.

First, the young lady who services the customers at M&S Transmissions was the perfect customer service representative for U-Haul. You should use her example as the text book for all your service people.Absolutely the most outstanding service I have ever had in 40+ years of business! She deserves a raise and promotion to train the other employees with in U-Haul!!! Next, your phone and on line people and system need drastic improvement. I had made up my mind I would never use U-Haul again but the service at M&S was so outstanding I will do business with them again. Your scheduler and national system people need a lot of improvement to meet just average perfomance standards for a business. Skill improvement a like listening, understanding, customer service, attitude of service not inconvenience, understanding your own policies and capabilities, use of your own computers software and not bringing problems to the work place! Finally, plainly and simply, customer service is simple with a positive attitude! I would recommend a new training program and hiring program for your current and future employees.

This is not the fault of M&S transmissions, but I was not very happy to have to drive 10 miles out of the way to pick up the truck. The nearest U-Haul was only a mile away from the move location, and there were several others closer than the one the truck was at.

We arranged our truck over a month in advance and when we arrived to pick up the truck they sent us across town because they did not have anything available for us. Very poor customer service and this delayed us well over 4 hours. unacceptable!

U-Haul needs to inform customers that M&S Transmission's office closes at 4:30 PM. I arrived at 4:50 PM. Customers thinking that U-Haul affiliates have the same hours as other U-Haul stores might be wrong. U-Haul helpdesk told me that I had to unhitch the tow dolly from the truck or wait until morning. Some customers may be physically unable to do so because limitations and customers should not be required to run errands in the city in a U-Haul truck with a car in tow until morning.
