The truck was covered in roaches in the box area, not clean at all, the cab was nasty and had dip or spit or something crazy in the cup holders and the seats. I had to completely clean the truck before we could use it. Worst experience ever.

Where do I start. After spending 10 minutes going through all the online check-in phases, taking pictures of all the damage not “stickered”, my license and credit card, I looked up to see a young girl and her boyfriend about to drive off in my truck! The sole employee in the gas station / convenience store / Uhaul location, who was renting out UHaul trucks, checking in deliveries and checking out a line of customers had given them the same truck. I called the UHaul customer service number, and after 5-8 minutes on hold, the customer service agent, who was very nice, told me it was cancelled and I could then get another vehicle by going through the process with the employee at the location. Eventually I received a different vehicle, took pictures of all the damage not stickered, and off I went. When I got to where I needed to start loading furniture, I found that the truck bay actually had items in it, 2 blankets, a trash can, a shower curtain, two dumbbells, and assorted clothes hangars. I pushed that all to the back and got about my business. On the way to return the vehicle, I found a half eaten sandwich and food wrappers on the dashboard. Awesome. When I walked in to return the vehicle the employee could not do it, as my name was still associated with the original truck. Twenty minutes later, the owner came over from the attached liquor store and after speaking with someone for a while on the phone I was finally able to check out and leave. I also showed them the picture of the half eaten food and stated I was not going to clean it. At this point, I literally have no idea what I will end up being actually charged for. Never. Ever. Again.

We rented the truck online, which was paid for on my card. However, when we went to pick up the truck, we were asked for payment in which we were charged AGAIN on a separate card. Then, upon returning the truck, we filled it up before returning. Only to be told that we were lying and had not done this (the fuel gage had moved maybe a centimeter from the full icon, from when we filled up and drove the 2 miles back to the return). Being that the place to return the truck is a GAS STATION, we offered to put in the maybe $2-$3 that was missing. We were told no and that we would be charged extra for not filling the gas up, even though we did and offered to fill up whatever was missing on the property. Every move we always use U-Haul and have never had an issue, but this time we were treated so poorly and squeezed and scammed out of our money. Moving is already expensive and while my boyfriend and I both have full time jobs, we make sure to have our belts tightened every move. This experience was flat out ridiculous and we were treated so awful. If you need a U-Haul, AVOID THIS LOCATION.

The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. They could not find the keys, and the vehicle was also about 1/10th of a mile down the road. This is not conducive to business. It took 45 minutes to finally resolve the issue.

The computer system was not working when I went to the store, and it took the employee 20+ minutes to figure out an alternate method. I had already rented and checked in online, so this was a highly inefficient experience. She tried to talk me into a different size truck, asked for multiple credit cards and phone numbers (I had already provided all my details online), and couldn’t answer when I asked what we could do in lieu of a working computer system. The employee was apologetic and doing her best to serve other customers at the same time, but it still took WAY too long for her to figure out to give me a paper contract instead of an electronic one. Highly inefficient and cumbersome system for someone on a tight schedule! Would not recommend.

I did waived all the possible insurance online when I place the order, but the bill still include insurance which cost me an extra $14.

The first time I rented a truck, I ordered a dolly, they did not provide it and charged for two. I emailed, called, but the charge was never cancelled. This week I rented a truck again. It was old, difficult to switch on, unstable and the tires smelt 'burnt'. It felt really unsafe. And again, I ordered a dolly and it was not provided. Never again.

When I arrived, I had to wait at a gas station in questionable part of town. I was directed to drive down the road to pick up the trailer. When I picked the trailer up alone, I noticed there were no light hookups on the trailer. I had to drive back to the gas station and ask for the needed wire to make the lights work. After searching through their inventory, I was directed to pull the trailer to another Uhaul facility while not having trailer lights on a 6x12 trailer. As I got to the other facility, they provided me with the needed connection wire. When I opened the trailer, it had trash in it from the previous renter that I had to clean out.
