First, there was only one customer service person who was on the phone helping someone with moving questions. My husband and I waited for our pre-arranged rental for 15 minutes while they finished up the call. Next, we were given the wrong truck. Had to wait for them to fix the 'system'. Next, I had reserved 2 furniture dollies which I assumed they put the in the truck. We got to our destination and no furniture dollies. Luckily the person at our destination had furniture dollies. Of course, we were charged for the dollies. Called in the next day and could not talk to anyone at that location. Wonder how the person on the phone got through to the store? Customer service took care of requesting the refund for the 2 dollies. We will see if I ever see the refund. Last, the truck we ended up renting had a "oil change required" service light on the entire trip. I work in customer service and in my opinion the was no excuse for the poor customer service as we were the only customers in the store the entire time.

Checked unit back in well before time it was due, later recieved an email it was late, they looked on the lot and indeed they did have it, so better attention to detail would be good so renter is not accused of fault when there was none.....

Was told every thing was ok when I turned in the truck so I said they could email receipt. When I got the receipt, was charged for gas when I had replaced gas I had used 1.5 miles from the return store. Should have been notified of gas replacementcharge before leaving. Feel that I replaced all of the fuel that I used.

The people were friendly but I am very disappointed that the driver's side headlight was out and we had to travel over 90 miles at night with the light out. We could not get another truck because office was closed. Also, they did not inform us that the truck that we rented did not have a landing otherwise we would have rented another size truck. That was very inconvenient for us.

The door jammed on opening and closing which was kind of a pain, and the ramp really took force to latch back into place. This is a personal pet peeve of mine, but the person who checked the vehicle back in barely spoke or acknowledged me except to inform me of the charges and that I would receive a receipt via email. Have had great experiences at this location in the past, but this time was "average" at best.

The truck had severe front end problems and the steering wheel was mounted upside down. This made seeing instrument cluster hard to see when set into proper driving location. Truck was clean though. I only need truck for around 5 hrs and drove less than 50 miles. Regular in town mileage didn't apply and I was charged 99 cents per mile doubling the cost of the rental. I understand it was Saturday but this raise in rate is rediculous for and in town rental picked up and returned same day. The gentleman that check me back in was courteous and professional and did an excellent job but the person who rented the truck to me was very dry and seemed to not care about me questioning pricing. Not very friendly. If I returned and had to rent from him I would leave and rent somewhere else. Just not please with a 100 rental for 6 hrs and less than 50 for a $29 truck. Pricing is very misleading and unfair to raise rate on a Saturday to nearly double.

I got a uhaul a month and a half ago. when I arrived back at the location I asked if al was good and was told yes that I did not owe any more money. then I received an email stating that I owed 84.00 some odd dollars. well I sent an email into customer support and still to this day have not received anything from anyone and on jan 17th my card was charged for that amount. I am not happy and this is bullshit. I want my money back. I will not come back.

Athens has space to drop off that is easy to get in and out of. But not for pick up. We got a tow dolly and it was easy enough to back the vehicle up to get it hitched to, but the way out from getting it hooked up was terrible. I needed a wide turn to get out and didn't have one! They have a "dolly" to move the equipment back in place after it is dropped off, why not let me hook up there too!?

I rented the trailer around 8:30 am on January 21st with an anticipated rental time of 24-hours; I returned the trailer after-hours at about 8:30 pm the same day, leaving it in the return area as instructed by the General Manager. However, the trailer was not checked-in until 9:01 am on January the 22nd. I was then charged for a second day of rental, which was completely inappropriate. Upon calling the location to correct this mistake, I was routed to the customer service department and told that it would take a number of days to address my request for a refund, and even then I was given no assurances that I would be refunded for this frivolous charge. If the refund is not issued in a prompt manner, I will not be returning to this location or any U-Haul location; I will be using Budget from now on.
