Ramp on drivers side was broken- When pulled out, it came all the way off the trailer and fell on the ground. It was difficult to tell if it was locked in place or not before loading. The clip that holds the end in when the ramp is up is missing a spring, so did not engage on it's own. Both ratchets were difficult to use, and the one on the passenger side was missing a spring and would not engage on it's own. We made it work, but someone not familiar with how it functions probably wouldn't be able to.
