Brittany POur reservation included an appliance dolly and when we picked up our truck it did not appear to be with the truck. I went inside and the “virtual agent” informed me that the property manager must have deleted it off our reservation because it wasn’t available and that they are first come first serve. All understandable, but what I did not understand was why there was not a notification from U-Haul that the dolly wasn’t available. The dolly was a requirement by the (U-Haul owned) movers Moving Help. So with no help from the virtual agent and the property manager no where to be found I was in a scramble to find and pickup a dolly while under time constraints of the truck and the movers. An already stressful day made more stressful by lack of communication. I’ve used Midgard before for my U-Haul pickups and it’s bees satisfactory in the past but I’m disappointed that a simple thing like communication is going downhill. Because of this and the lack of care for customer satisfaction, I’ll likely use a different facility/ company on my next move.
JOSE LLow tire pressure warning light was illuminated on dashboard. Did not affect driving experience. Also, the pick up process was great but the drop off process using your app was really slow and painful. The app is not well designed or easy to use. It took ages to find My Rental and then there were too many screens in the checkout process. The overall drop off took around 20 minutes which is just too long.
