I guess my fault for not checking fuel gauge until after I left.Contract said 7/8,but it was 5/8.I called to have someone note the contract.Still I put $10.00 in the tank.Only drove 20miles or so.I think the tanks should always show full,like for rental cars.Thx.Robert Mittet

During check in I questioned my bill. I had to add 3 more days to my rental and was charged an additional fee for insurance. Questioned the person checking in the truck and was told that nothing could be done. I paid for this when I picked up the truck. Not sure why I was charged for it again. It is not like I dropped off the truck and picked up a new one. I just extended my contract. I paid more for the 3 day rental than I did for the 7 days. The math just does not add up.

I was over charged $28.00 for insurance I clearly declined. I am waiting for my card to be credited back. Thank you. 253/696-9221. Also, this is the second weekend in a row I have rented from this location and it appears to be a theme to state their is a quarter more of gasoline in the vehicle with direction to return in same volume. Both times I had this corrected.

Went to pickup my truck on Sunday morning. The lady helping me, although very friendly, seemed extremely untrained on the process. It took about five tries to get my credit card to take. I told her repeatedly I didn't want the "safemove" but apparently that's the only way they could get the transaction to go through. I did not want this, I wanted the price I was quoted online, but I had 6 helpers waiting to get the move started. 45 minutes later and with a much higher bill than I expected, I walked out very frustrated.

I am in customer service so I totally respect when I see good customer service. That was not the case at the auburn uhaul. First off it took 2 hours to rent a truck. I used to live in Utah and renting a uhaul never took more then 15 min. We went through and got it all taken care of charged my card $114. I go out and inspect the truck. Come back in and they had to refund my card because they only rented me the truck for 3 hours. I told them I needed 24hours. Okay fine, simple error. Then they started blaming their mistake on me. I was so confused. How was that my fault? So then I told them I had a reservation for a different location in federal way and they had the traffic manager switch it to the auburn location. Then I get charged $118 to rent it for 24 hours. Why did I get charged more? I’m just not impressed with how I was treated. I will not be renting from aurburn again. Please make this right, if you can? Thank you for listening!

i rented at this location for the first time on sunday. Not one mention to me that when i brought the truck back at 6:30 it would be after hours and therefore closed. Not ONE mention as to where and what to do with the keys. I spent 30 min. walking around looking for a key drop off. I called a Uhaul number on my reciept and got ahold of someone in another state and he told me to look for a big orange drop box with a picture of a key on it, which there is NONE! Finally, someone else droping off there truck showed me a SMALL YELLOW slit in the glass front doors is where i drop the keys. VERY VERY POOR communication and hardship on me. You guys are close to where i live, so in the future i still may use you, but i won't recommend you to anyone. Chris D'Amato

I put in extra gas and then they turn around and charge me saying it was short. Completely dishonest. Wish i took a picture. I was well over 3/4 tank after putting gas in then when i did night drop the next morning they say it was short of 3/4 tank. Impossible. Dishonest and diapleased that they would do that over a little gas i actual gave them extra gas an 1/8 over the 3/4 mark to be exact.

We had 3 U-Boxes in storage there. We made arrangements on Oct. 6th to have our boxes brought out so we could get access to them. We scheduled Oct. 14th for noon access. We got to the store at 12:30pm and was told that our boxes were not out, and that they had no order to pull them out. The man who identified himself as the assistant manager told us there was nothing they could do, as the boxes were buried in the back of a stack. He was beligerant and not at all helpful. Finally, after expressing to him that "he was the face of U-Haul, regardless of who made the mistake, and U-Haul was getting a bad reputation as a result of his unwillingness to help", he finally agreed to go pull our boxes out. It took close to 2 hours to get access to our boxes, and finally at 3:15pm, we were able to get into them. I rented a truck and promptly emptied them; I will be moving my storage to someplace else, even if it cost more per month, just so I don't have to go through that ordeal again.

The truck smelled like bails of hey. The truck ran horrible. I was told that I could park my semi and then later told by this assistant manager that I couldn't. Hey went on to tell me different people U-Haul we're trained to lie to me.

Without this location, I would have probably never been a customer again. I can only describe this location as U-Haul Heaven. (^_^) The people there were friendly, quick, thoughtful, and had all the information I needed. They had PLENTY of different types of trucks available, and a parking lot I felt completely safe to leave my car in. I felt like I was in good hands, and will come back to see them next time even though they're well out of my neighborhood. If you want to edit out this section, I understand. The reason I'm so happy about them by comparison: The first location was a gas station with no signage and one small box truck in the parking lot. I passed it by twice and almost kept going the third time, thinking it was an error on the website or the map. The second location I had just gone to (21001 72nd Ave S, Kent WA 98032) looked like the deserted back-lot section of a commercial warehouse complex, with nothing in the large parking lot other than a handful of empty trailers and the pickup truck I needed. There were locks hanging on the door handle, and the interior was a wide-open space with a few cubicle-partition walls standing in the center. There was no signage leading to the area and I had considerable difficulty finding it, but at least the door had a U-Haul logo on the glass. Since it was the middle of the day (~11am) and the door wasn't locked I came in to look around, but felt almost like a burglar looting an abandoned building. I called out, but no one responded. After a minute or two of looking around (and marveling at the large noisy computer server on a table against one wall) I noticed a guy wearing large headphones with his feet propped on a desk in a side room with the lights off, and waved. He came out and asked if I had an appointment (I didn't know they were needed), then in response to my question about the pickup trucks' towing capacity, he guessed 2000 pounds. I asked if he had any brochures or customer instructions, and he said he was new and the girl who might know should be there in 15 minutes. While waiting, I found the real information using my phone (6000 pounds, which met my need for 3400) and went back in to rent one. He said he was pretty new, and didn't know how to do that either. As I continued to wait, a couple came by and he was able to help them with their U-Box after some apparent difficulties. When I asked how much longer it might be, he said he had called and left a message for his coworker but got no response. A third customer came by just as I was leaving (after 30-45 minutes of waiting) - all I can say is that I hope she didn't need accurate or helpful information.

Returning in late afternoon was a total zoo! Not enough parking and nearly was hit 3 times in the parking lot, in required area, while trying to return the trailor.
