The 10' truck had a cracked windshield and shattered wide-view drivers-side side-view mirror. Staff said that the damage had been reported to U-haul and repair was scheduled. In retrospect, truck should've been out of service pending repair for safety reasons.
Frank CI had to call Roadside Assistance twice; had to travel 10 - 15 miles extra to accommodate RA. Waiting for RA needlessly added approximately 6 hours to my move. This could have been avoided through proper maintenance.

JARED HJust briefly want to mention vehicle cleanliness was not reflective of what I expect from the UHaul brand. A lot of thick bird droppings (all over the windscreen) needed to be cleaned off right after pick up…..clearly, I was on a time crunch. Cab interior was also quite dusty & steering wheel was really grimy & required cleaning off too. Also, really glad I checked tires pressure as they were all significantly off - spec pressure. I also replaced one stem valve cap which was completely missing. With a fairly long journey ahead, these details are important. As the vehicle only had less than 5K mileage, I expected cleanliness to be better. Just a shout out as UHaul has high profile branding & thought you should be aware in this particular instance.
