The gasoline indicator level was below the 3/4, I was in a hurry and I didn't read carefully all the document. The woman that attended me was not nice and she didn't explain anything at all about it or about anything else. I used the truck only for 9 miles but I had to refill it with more than 5 gallons to put the indicator in the 3/4 level to avoid extra charges. The man that attended me when I returned the truck was not nice either but at least he told me that it would be more expensive for me if do not refill the tank to the 3/4 level. I was charged two periods just because nobody explained me anything about when I had to return the truck. In the page I selected 9 hours for the rent but I thought that that was just an estimation requested for control purposes. The rent should cover the 24 hours automatically. The U-Haul webpage is not clear about when an extra period will be charged. If the people were totally aware of this we all would select the maximum time period possible. You are not playing a fair game here.

The first time I called to confirm my rental, I had to call 24 times in 8-9 hours until I was able to connect with an employee. Then she was terribly rude and told me I was lying, she hadn't left the phone all day. She was then unable to help me confirm my reservation. I had to call corporate. I had signed up for a flexible pick up location and wanted to move my pick up. No other trucks matching my order in town. On the day I picked up the truck, I had to wait to finish my transaction on and off as the clerk was both helping me and running the cash register at the gas station. My transaction was carried out on a personal laptop sitting on a stool, the clerk unsure of even how to do the transaction. We finally fumbled our way through and got the keys, no formal inspection of the truck to note any existing damage. Started moving day out very stressfully.

When I arrived onsite at 3:15pm, first, the lady could not find the keys. Had to make phone calls and waited for a call back. Once found and process began on laptop, I was repeatedly put 2nd behind the gas, beer and food paying customers. Yes, I was shocked to learn this was a GAS STATION when I arrived after booking online. I finally left around 4:15 with my vehicle. The lady asked, "do you need me to g outside with you?" I was running late so said, "no." When I arrived at 9:30 pm to drop off my vehicle, there was no drop box to be found. I called the local number on the contract that it said to dial for assistance - there was no answer or message to leave a VM. I went online on my phone and found UHaul 800 number, called, and was told if no drop box, I would have to return again in the morning with the keys. None of this info was relayed to me or in any part of the contract.
