This was NOT my preferred pick up location. It was completely on the other side of town. I wasn't notified that the location was different until I was already AT the original pick up spot (both the email and text were not sent until AFTER the pick up time). I had to take another uber to the spot. It cost me more money in transportation, added more unnecessary miles to my trip and made me late to meet the movers I had hired. Overall a very disappointing experience that could have been avoided if my truck was just where it was supposed to be.

I was originally scheduled to pick up my truck one block away from the hotel I booked. I was then moved to a location three miles away that required a taxi ride. When I got there, I was informed for the first time that my location had been moved yet again to another three miles further outside of town. I had not been notified of this and showed my most recent confirmations indicating I was at the right one. They had no trucks available (despite having had one confirmed to be there 12hrs earlier.) All in all, I had $40 of taxi charges to cover for the issues. The second location was also remarkably makeshift. It was hard to believe it was an authorized Uhaul location. Overall improvement: Better communication and getting the customer what they have reserved. And then compensating for any charges incurred because of your changes to the reservation.

I don't have any negative comment on this specific location. However, I was very disappointed by the first pick-up location's services/performance. Initially I was asked to go to 1300 Merritt Blvd in Dundalk to pick up my reserved 15' truck and the email message reads it's "guaranteed" - although I did select 3926 Falls Rd Baltimore, MD 21211 as my preference. When I arrived 1300 Merritt Blvd, the guy in the store told me his Internet was not working and could not do anything for me. And then it took me more than 50 minutes to get hold an U-Haul person over the phone to fix the problem for me. During my waiting for a real person to listen to my concern, the other end kept telling me to go to u-haul website to submit reviews, which was very annoying!! My scheduled pick-up time was 8:30am, when I got my truck (10' not 15' that I originally requested and paid), it was around 10:20am already. And my moving helpers had been waiting for me ...

we were charged 38.25 for gas. We filled the tank up because the gas line did not move when we were putting gas in it and we kept filling until we couldn't out any more gas in it. there are 2 holds on my bank account for this rental. the original one for 50.49 and the updated one for 176.79 I have been on hold for 15 minutes to speak to someone and still have not talked to anyone.

Horrible-stood at front desk for ten minutes with no help. Finally found the employees, outside smoking cigs on their phone. Got a truck with a flat tire. They did help me in switching the truck, but after a long time trying to figure it out. Very disappointed in my experience here. Would never come back.

The truck didnt have a full tank of gas and when i opened the back of the truck when i got home there was candy wrappers everywhere, along with a old coat. When i returned the truck i made sure the back was cleaned out and filled the tank up. The people at the store where helpful with getting the truck and check in was a breeze.

There were two girls who waited on me while I was there on Sunday. They were both very helpful and worked hard to get me a truck on a moments notice and did everything they needed to do to take care of me. Please note that your competitor (Budget Truck Rentals) lost my reservation for the day. So it was a pleasant surprise to see Uhaul Save the Day!!!

I reserved a 20' truck. When I got there I was informed they did not have a 20' truck. Samantha Poling was very professional and apologized. She did however have a 17' truck. My only suggestion is that if you reserve a certain truck, you should get what you reserved.

Should try to put reserved equipment closer to entrance, put unreserved equipment at the far end of parking lot. The parking lot is too large to have people walking back and forth from the counter to the equipment they have reserved in advance.

As a former Police Officer and Security Professional, it is my opinion that the current store layout creates an environment that makes customers uncomfortable. At the counter, the customer is flanked by two tall display racks. They leave only a narrow space for the customer and make it easy for a potential assailant to trap someone against the counter, while an accomplice accosts the employees. Moving the displays to the outer walls and making use of stanchions with retractable canvas straps, or some other pedestrian control would open the line of sight throughout the store.

the ratchet systems on the car transport were rusted and overly difficult to operate, had to but wd40 to get the one to even be functional.

The trailer did not have the tire hold down ratchet straps. I was told that U-Haul was going to a new trailer, and the old ones no longer had this safety feature. ????? The key word is "safety". The safety chains on the auto transport trailer are secondary, there needs to a primary restraint on the vehicle. I had to purchase my own ratchet straps to secure the vehicle. I Love using U-Haul... If this is your policy on this trailer. It needs to be reconsidered.

Customer service was horrible they charged me for 2 days for a rental a had for 3 hours. When confronting the manager of the location about the over charge he told me I was bothering him and he would get back to me. He only called me with a resolution after I instructed him on how he should speak to a customer.
