I made a contactless reservation for a 20' truck. On pick up day, the truck was not available and I was prompted by the U-Haul app to call customer service. It was irritating that I was given no notice what I reserved a week in advance was not available, but I was able to swap to the 26' truck the location did have. I was then prompted by the app to GO INSIDE the establishment to pick up the keys. I go inside and the “U-Haul CSR†at NAPA wasn't there and I had to wait 15 more minutes to get the keys. When the “U-Haul CSR†did arrive he told me the other NAPA guy could have just given me the keys. I made it a point to select a contactless reservation to avoid any of the above.
