Customer service was very good. The outside of the truck could use a wash! Returning after hours on App was a bit long otherwise ✅
Rachel RI am VERY grateful for the help I received from Dave! I cannot thank him enough for his generosity. He made this specific moving experience memorable because he took the time to listen and even though he was very limited on U-Haul trucks, he took a chance and let me rent a U-Haul for a few hours in hopes that I would keep my word and return it in time for the next individual that had a previous reservation. I don't expect this to ever happen again at the last minute, but I was at the right place at the right time, and I was able to get just what I needed from a kind, thoughtful and considerate person! Thanks again Dave, you really made my day THAT DAY <3
ROSALIN RExcellent customer service! Very helpful and awesome staff!
Shara GHello, I would like to share my experience regarding the fuel instructions for my recent U-Haul rental and request reimbursement for the excess fuel I purchased. * I have rented from several U-Haul locations in the past, and I have typically been instructed to return the truck with a full tank. * At this location, the representative gave me paperwork indicating that the truck only needed to be returned at a specific fuel level, approximately 15/16 of a tank. * This instruction was not clearly emphasized verbally, and because most rental information is handled digitally today, it was easy to overlook the fuel-level notation on the paperwork. * Based on my previous U-Haul experiences, I filled the truck’s fuel tank before returning it. * After I returned the vehicle, I was informed that the location could not reimburse me because I had only been required to refill it to the specified level. * The truck had a manual fuel gauge, which makes it difficult to accurately determine whether the tank is at an exact level such as 15/16 or 75%. * Customers may unintentionally add too much or too little fuel. If they add too little, they may be charged a significantly higher refueling rate, but if they add too much, they are not reimbursed. * I drove the truck for only approximately nine miles but added about $24 worth of fuel. It does not appear reasonable that the truck would consume that amount of fuel over such a short distance. * I am therefore requesting that U-Haul review the rental records and reimburse me for the excess fuel I purchased. I also recommend that U-Haul improve how fuel-return requirements are communicated, particularly when the required level is something other than a full tank. Clear verbal instructions, digital notifications, or a more precise fuel-measurement system would help prevent similar situations. Thank you for reviewing this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Salman
