I had reserved the truck size above the van because I knew that is what I needed on Sept. 19. I reserved a dolley to transport my boxes and asked for some blankets as well. I received my confirmation and was assured all would be as I had reserved online. When I arrived, I was told I had reserved a van which, I had not since I knew it would be too small. There was no dolley and no blankets. The man just looked at me and shook his head and said, "No, I don't have one." He told me to get a truck somewhere else since he didn't have one. I didn't have time to go to another location to try and get a truck. Consequently, I had no choice but to take the van and make 2 trips instead of one through insane amounts of traffic on Friday September 29. The man at the uhaul desk asked me if I wanted blankets and I said yes. He gave me the car keys and started speaking to another customer. I went to the van and drove home because I was really late by now and quite frustrated only to find there were no blankets in the van either. I don't know what the point is of reserving in advance and going through all the choices and picking what I needed for my move when in the end I received nothing of what I had asked for. No truck. No dolley. No blankets. Not only that but the reservation person just said well I don't have what you need. You can go somewhere else. Not very helpful. Suffice it to say I will never reserve nor recommend this uhaul station again.

This place was great. Fast and courteous service. I had originally been guaranteed a trailer at another location a half an hour away. I get there and...no trailer! Luckily I didn't have a tight deadline to meet. Hopefully never have to rent a Uhaul trailer again.

This was not the location I had chosen. The location I choose was 5 minutes from my home. I had to travel 50 minutes to pickup this truck.The cab was filthy and the inside of the truck was covered with sand/dirt. I had purchased 2 mattress covers which were not available at the location. Had to go to my original location to pick them up. Left my home at 7:30am to pickup the truck. Had to travel about 25 kms each way through construction and detours and only got home about 11:15am. This was a lot of time wasted. Needless to say my move got off to a very poor start. The truck drove great. The rest of the trip (a 7 hour drive) was fine.

I originally had a pick up location in DDO QC. The trailer rear door was not functional and had to pick up another trailer at the beaconsfields location. I lost a lot of time on the pick day on the account that it was 16:30 in heavy traffic. I'm not very happy with my lastest rental with Uhaul.

You had my daughter's email from a previous rental. You sent her a confirmation email which she said she never made the reservation, so you cancelled MY reservation on MY voice message. Thank god I got it on time and made another reservation. Please check out the name next time and double check. Thank you Diane de Grandmont

We reserved at Uhaul on Normal street in Lachine. Then when we wanted to pick up, they said they didn't have the size truck that we had reserved. We had to go to Beaconsfield to get it. Uhaul included extra kilometres to compensate but didn't tell us that this location we had to pick up by 5pm. Lachine location pick up was by 7:30pm because they close at 8pm. We were very lucky that the garage owner was still present at 5:30pm. But after the contract was filled in, I asked for blankets for covering furniture. He said I should have asked before completing contract. I said I could pay cash but he said they were in the back and locked up and it would be complicated. So we had to use our own blankets and covers and I still have not washed all the blankets that we had to use. But he was nice to accommodate us at the late arrival which was Uhaul's fault. 2nd - we got an email notification on Saturday that we had to bring the truck back to 2 particular locations but no one called us. We had no access to internet on Saturday because that was our moving date. We didn't see the email until Monday when I went back to work and we had already returned the truck on the Sunday to the closest location to our new home. I was not impressed. If you have an important message to leave a customer, don't ever leave an email people.

I asked the gentleman to enter my U-Haul certificate number so I could get a $50 discount and he refused and said does not know how to do it!
