How U-Haul Reviews WorkNice location, nice customer service. I was able to get a bigger truck than the one I reserved which was amazing !
Luz VYou must renew your trucks to a better brand with more energy efficient features, also install electronic center rearview mirrors to get more safety. You have a great and very convenient network of locations, but your trucks have awfully outdated technology and I always felt unsafe driving them for many years. If you fix fuel efficiency, specially now that gas is so expensive, you would get a lot more customers than today. No electric trucks, gas, but with better motors, not that GMC trash…
Marcel RStaff be more accurate and send the right contract for the right vehicle instead of giving me a contract with the wrong license plate
Catharine KI am extremely unhappy with my U-Haul experience and consider this an escalation of a serious customer-service and policy concern. The biggest issue is the way U-Haul charges both mileage and fuel separately, along with additional fees, without making the full cost impact sufficiently clear upfront. I chose U-Haul specifically because it was supposed to be a cost-effective alternative to hiring movers. By the time all the extra charges were added, that advantage was largely gone. I raised these concerns multiple times, yet instead of addressing the substance of the complaint, I kept receiving calls essentially repeating the same policy back to me. That is not resolution. Adding another $30 fee on top of an already frustrating experience only made matters worse. The drop-off scheduling was also handled in a way that felt completely unreasonable and unscrupulous. Customers should not have to discover important conditions, costs, or inconvenient arrangements only after committing to the rental. Your policies may technically exist in the agreement, but policies that are not clearly and prominently communicated upfront will leave customers feeling misled and ripped off. If I had known the true final cost and the amount of additional hassle involved, I could simply have hired movers and saved myself the time, energy, and frustration. U-Haul seriously needs to reconsider how these charges and drop-off conditions are communicated. A “cheap rental” is not cheap when customers are hit with multiple extra charges afterward. Absolutely unacceptable experience.
