I think it can be good to have driver's manual in the van/truck incase somebody needs help with vehicle as it can help them take a quick look to become familiar with the new vehicle.

My only complaint was that I found an i-phone in the truck I happened to rent and turned it into their lost and found dept. I asked if no one claimed it could I keep the phone..they said yes but when I went back (while renting more trucks) and asked about it they told me that one of their employees had taken it for himself. Typical.Other than that it's a great place.

This has by far be the most costly move, due to poor traffic control and scheduling guarantees from both the Corporate Sales Office and local regional dispatch. I will never rent from Uhaul again, and am going public with my experience by releasing the recorded call with my agent that held no accountability when the booking transpired to my local vendor. VERY nice personnel- from counter to reception, and return. I only rent trucks and vans from this location, as they have the best hours, availability, and people. Also a very secure storage facility.

Kudos to Sidney for getting me checked out quickly. She gives very good service with a smile. I must make one suggestion. There is a new guy named Lord. He was nice and got the truck and mileage checked out in a prompt way. But there is one problem with him that REALLY needs to be fixed. He wears his pants completely down below his ass with his underwear showing. If he worked for me, he would be given one chance to pull his damn pants up, and if he did it again, I would fire him on the spot. It is a gangster style of dress and does not belong on the job. Please tell him that he needs a belt, and to keep his pants up.

Mileage was wrong between vehicle and paperwork in U-Haul's favor. All requested accessories were not supplied. I would recommend a standard of checking before releasing the vehicle to the customer.

I had two issues that should be noted. 1- a set of keys were left in the truck. We called yesterday to ask if they were found. We're told they would check the safe but no one ever called back. We had to call again today for help. 2- upon calling again today, was told the truck was never returned. Which was obviously wrong. So had we not called, the truck would have been considere still in my possession 3- the day I picked it up. No one was in the yard to help me. The guy inside told me to go out but no one was there, so I had to find help. Other than that experience was good.

Excelent service. I was treeted respectfuly, friendly service. The desk and yard employees really made me feel comfortable, did there job well and sent me on my way. Very easy! I realy liked the fact that I was asked if I wanted insurance. Becausr I was asked, I said yes. I appriciate that offer. This is your best UHaul location. The Belmont UHaul is the only reason I have not bought a trailer. Excellent Service everytime. Please let The Belmont UHaul Crew know.You should give them a rase or insentive.I'm not a easy customer. I expect the best and demand the best. Thanks, Your valued customer, Dan

I will say that it would have been helpful to confirm the pick up location I went in to the redwood city location to change from a 15'to 10' and was told I had reserved at the Belmont location I was surprised When I asked if I could switch location everyone dropped the ball Redwood city said no problem we'll have the 10 sent from Belmont then when I noticed the email confirming this change made no mention of this so I phoned back Oh sorry sir we can do that "who said " Agghhh The I was transferred to the scheduler and she reacted to my bad attitude with more bad attitude Training your people Using online resources like "Mindflash" is great I ask for an confirmation email to change from 15 to 10 and keep it at the. Elmo t location and the email came to me with no change I phoned back and she said not to worry even though it said in the email 15, I was done for 10' All it all making any change was very difficult

Customer service is a lost art, sadly. The kids working at this Uhaul location are rude, unprofessional, discourteous, and incompetent. I will be using a different truck rental service in the future.

Give out candy. No, really though. There is not anything I can think of that could improve my experience with U-Haul. Joseph is a top notch guy and an asset to your company. Ericka and Danielle are also up there with Joseph. They all know the equipment. They all conduct service with a smile. A very important attribute in customer service. And they all know me, and seem genuinely pleased when I come in. Merry Christmas to all.

This place was fine. It was the waiting 40 minutes at one location then being redirected 20 minutes in another direction to get a vehicle. I waited an hour and drove extra mileage back home and it cost me the same amount. I dont appreciate the service i recieved from uhal. I dont mind the locations AFTER i already had that issue

Won't use uhaul again. Online booking confirmation did not clearly specify that this location doesn't have what we booked. The email said we would get a call from any rep to arrange the pickup; we never did. We didn't get the truck we booked, didn't even get the 3 dozen blankets we booked, and the 2dozen blankets were missing one! When we called customer service, the rep was unprofessional, defensive and rude.

Take into account the distance you are adding to a customers travel in the allotted miles. In order to both pick up and return my truck I had to drive an additional 5-10 miles as a pick up was not available at the needed time at a closer location to my starting point and all of the drop offs offered to me were across town from my destination. I mentioned this to the woman helping me and she did give me 10 miles but we literally picked up, between locations, got gas, and returned it and were over miles. This souls not happen.
