No one was at the location to provide keys and check us in. We had to make several calls to locate someone who could help, ultimately delaying us for an hour and a half. There were no alternative 10’ trucks within an hour of our location. We were not in any way compensated for all the delay and confusion and utter incompetence displayed in this whole process. I would not recommend Uhaul based on this experience

I made a reservation. 15 minutes before was told no one would be there. They had me switch to an app based pickup. Problem is, no one sent me the actual code for the truck lock. I was on hold and problem solving for 35 minutes. Zero empathy on the app based team, not even acknowledgement they screwed up. I asked explicitly where the code was in my app reservation, they confirmed it was never sent. Truck windshield was so dirty we had to stop and clean it. It only had 1/3 of a tank of gas. Not at all a good experience sadly.
