Uhaul, you really blew it on this 24 hour self service thing. Awful experience with you and your approver Lisa. Was supposed to pick up my uhaul at 7:30am. Instead I drove away at 8:30 after Lisa said she needed to call 2 people to verify my identity. It was 7:30am on a SUNDAY MORNING. Who in their right mind answers their phone that early. And more importantly, what company in their right mind does this?!?! Terrible terrible terrible. I understand my identity needed to be proven, but no where was calling my friends and family that early mentioned in any email or training video for this process. I will not be using uhaul ever again.

Excellent customer service! They helped by making suggestions of what I needed and they were so kind & professional & friendly . Last time I went to a different U-Haul place in Bend .I will never go anywhere but here for now on . I will also make sure I tell friends and family to visit this location I was extremely pleased A+ !!

The system did not allow for the lesser expensive SafeMove insurance but rather was forcing the more expensive coverage. It took about 40 minutes of tech support before we were finally able to get our truck and leave. I even checked in online before showing up for a "faster rental experience"...

I had to fill the gas back to where it started, which is all fine and dandy, I went about 6miles total and filled the truck with 2 gallons of gas. Should've been plenty. Not only was I basically called a liar about filling up the truck, it was a $6 charge for something that was maybe fractions under where it needed to be. Equipment wasn't clean either, which is generally to be expected but if you guys are going to be Dicks like this, already make it so I can't complain about anything else

I was extremely disappointed when I went to pickup my rental and found that my location had changed and I was never notified. The new location pickup was a total inconvenience, much farther away than expected. My family member driving me was made late for an appointment and I was several miles away from my storage and also made late for an appointment. The inside of the truck was clean, but the cabin reeked of cigarette smoke and I found cigarette butts in the cup holders. Being allergic to cigarette smoke I was very irritated by this. The person who helped me at the pickup location was not terribly apologetic or sympathetic about the change in situation whatsoever. I would not recommend that pickup location to anyone.

We rented a dolly with the trailer. They said our son could return the dolly to the Bend location. When son returned it the man behind the counter didn't know how to give son a receipt or anything showing it was returned. Son finally asked for a business card with a note dolly was returned and a signature. Man finally called UHaul and asked them to send us an email.

It should be easier for the customer or the service location to make changes to an existing order. For example, if the customer would like to keep the rental for a longer period of time they should be able to do so at uhaul.com As far as I can tell that is not possible. In addition there doesn't appear to be enough staff for the phone lines, at least there wasn't on Saturday morning when I called and waited on hold for much too long.

The franchise owner seemed to have trouble with an outdated computer system. He had to call tech support several times in order to process my order. He was very professional and helpful.

Location fantastic, uhaul website for self checkout terrible! Given over 1500 to uhaul in 3 weeks went to checkout afterhours last night website kept rejecting photos! After a long day of moving and no working webpage finally gave up, left truck and keys and went home. Do not rec self checkout until you update your website!

Nothing ..simple..drove in, he told me where to park trailer, he disconnected it and disconnected the hitch for me too ..told me if I didn't need a paper copy of the receipt I could leave and he'd email it to me..total time..maybe three minutes ..;-)).

I reserved the trailer via phone and gave the person all my info. This info didn't make it to The Shop and I had to do it all over again.

When I went to return, the Shop told me I had to return elsewhere accross town because they didn't have room ven though my reservation was to pick up and drop off at same location. I refused and then asked to close out my contract and get a receipt...gentleman said he was too busy and would email it to me....they ended up closing my contract several hrs after drop off effectively charging me for another day of use. Very unhappy and I expect my billing to be adjusted by $40 less

I have never been to Texas. This happened because the U haul in Bend website NEEDS TO CHANGE ITS ADDRESS. The man who picked up our trailer took it to the corporate office, and instead of communicating with the other U haul in town, they just shipped it all over the country, to Texas, and charged me for it!
