I called at 641pm on 10/02 to get an after hours drop off location. We then unloaded the truck and went on our way to return the truck, the same night Tuesday October 2nd. I stopped at circle K gas station close to the drop off location in Bessemer ,Al to fill up the tank to 7/8th as my rental agreement dictated. Then proceeded the 1/4 mile down the road to drop off the truck in a place that looked like someone's front yard. I parked in between another 10' truck and a trailer. Then proceeded to drop my key off in the overnight lock box this was all done on 10/02. My rental agreement was through 10/03 by 5pm. I received an email on 10/04 saying that I had not yet dropped off the truck and they had been trying to get in touch with me, I had received no phone calls or emails from U-haul until I received the phone email saying I had not dropped it off. I then responded to the email saying when and where I had dropped the truck off, as requested by U-haul. I then received an email on 10/05 saying I was being billed for an extra 60 dollars on the card used because I did not drop off the truck in the time allotted even though I had. I then called to dispute the charges and spoke with someone who seemed willing to help me and am now waiting on a follow up from them on if that dispute will go through. I'm hoping U-haul corporate will be able to help me, but either this locations and cirporate have some serious communication issues where they charge ppl extra because the system isn't communicating or the drop off location needs some training on processing. I would have liked to have saved my judgement til after U-haul rectified the situation but did not know how long this survey was available, and needed it to be known that I would prefer they process everything properly or potentially have a flaw in the system. And that they should handle the situation differently

Hand Truck, Furniture Dolly, and Blankets that had been rented and pre-paid were not present with the truck. Location had no related moving equipment or supplies.

Although I answered relatively negatively, the representative's customer service was extremely pleasant each time I had to interact with her (compared to a phone call made to the wrong location). The trailer had a shortage and the lights would not stay on. and there was no hand truck or furniture covers available.

First of all, I will NEVER use Uhaul ever again. EVER. Even if it was free. I got to my scheduled pick up location (that was so far from my preferred location) at 9 AM sharp which was my pickup time. No one was there, the trucks were locked. I tried calling the TWO numbers posted on the door and both were DISCONNECTED. I tried to call Uhaul corporate and it was so ridiculous trying to get through to anyone - I was on the phone for 38 minutes and 30 of those minutes were on hold. Finally, the lady showed up to let me in 48 minutes late and was on her personal phone call for the whole time trying to find my reservation, get my license, etc. After that miserable experience, I finally got home to start loading the truck and there were FIVE roaches (3 dead, two alive), IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK. Are you kidding me? COULD NOT have been a worse experience.
