Customer Service Training. My experience picking up the vehicle was straight forward and pleasant. However upon returning the vehicle the female representative working was very rude and disrespectful. When I pulled onto the lot in the truck, she was in another uhaul truck that had been returned, while conducting a personal telephone conversation. I said, "excuse me young lady, can I leave the truck parked here?" Without looking at or acknowledging me she responded, "put the truck under the green shed". The parking lot was crowded, the truck the employee was in was parked to my left, parked beside (parallel) the green shed. The truck I drove onto the lot, was stopped beside the vehicle the employee was in, mine was facing the Office door. I proceeded to unload some personal items from the uhaul rental into my niece's personal vehicle. She had come to pick me up, I said to my niece I think she said to park the truck under the shed. I'm not sure because she didn't look my way when she said it. However, I could not pull the uhaul rental under the shed because two other Uhaul Vehicles were parked blocking the entrance. Instead I went into the office to make sure I had completed the return process. The employee in question, was behind the desk along with another female employee. I stated I was returning my rental uhaul, the 2nd employee asked where I had parked the truck. The 1st employee responded before I could speak, "I Already Told Her To Put It Under The Shed"; the tone was sarcastic. I'm old enough to be her mother, I said Young Lady You do not have to be so rude to me! Her response was well I'm not from here! My response was you should Keep that rudeness and disrepect! Maybe she did not mean to be disrepectful, maybe that's how she treats people. But there is a correct respectful tone that should be used with anyone as a common courtesy. I'm not trying to have her disciplined or fired. However, I simply came to return a rented vehicle and at my age I simply will not accept an employee disrespecting me or talking to me as a customer in a condescending manner. It Simply was unprofessional, unnecessary and uncalled for. The 2nd employee walked out with me, and simply said "Ma'am I'm sorry for what just happened." She then Moved the two trucks that were blocking the entrance to the Green shed, and I pulled my rental in. As a customer and Human Being, I give respect and expect to be treated likewise. When you make a mistake the fix should accommodate in favor of the customer. My issues could've easily been fixed on day one but because the manager Brandon from valley Ave location wasn't willing to go the extra mile to please a customer my experience was less than pleasant. This was the most disgusting truck I have ever rented. I have used Uhaul numerous times and this will be my last. I have video and pictures. The drivers door had a vibrating, knocking noise the entire time I drove. The truck looked has it had not been clean in months. The floor, the window were absolutely disgusting. Set up order to pick up 04/10/2021 at 8am. Arrived at uhaul and no one was there until 11 am. This is very unprofessional, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The manager claims she was out of town, arrangements for the store should of been made properly. I had to pay my mover extra money due to this.
