After a reservation made 10 days earlier in Parsippany, I was told I needed to go and pickup the truck myself at a different location over 30 miles away! I called this new location all day to confirm. Never a pick up. I tried to leave a message for a call back …. the mail box was full I called your 800 number (35 minutes on the on hold music) which confirmed the new location. Anyway, when I went to the new location I found a "store" closed and with a message by "Shawn" referring to a neighbor Barber Shop … who knew nothing about nothing. I called again your 800 numbers and after close to one hour of being bounced from one operator to the next and the irritating on hold music and endless irritating announcements about "reporting my experience with Uhaul" somebody was able to remotely give me access to a lock box with a key... What should have been a 15 minutes transaction at a counter close to my home, became an all day nightmare more than 30 miles from it. The worst... And where is "Shawn" anyway???

I would rather rent a van at a place where there is a service person available to help The app glitches and it took Over 30 minutes to approve my info I will not use this again because of the fact that no one is around to help .. I’d rather go to a place where there are people to assist you Also if I didn’t have an iPhone how would I have Gotten the van ??? This just doesn’t work for Everyone ...

The place was supposed to open at 10, but the guy didnt show up until 10:30. He was very sorry for the traffic and was very nice and helpful once he got there.

I reserved a truck for a different time and location but was sent here. While the owner was wonderful, extremely helpful and professional, this added at least 20 Miles to my rental and set me behind schedule 1 1/2 hours. As I said, while not convienent, the owner made the process positive.

Get the required vehicle closer than 20 miles in the most densely populated state in the union. Then not in a deserted urban vacant lot. And make your app run smoother. It took me 30 minutes for the pickup unlike when I rented in a maned location in Morris a few weeks earlier

The check in and out process takes ridiculously long and I have to do it all myself on my phone, with photos of my license and myself etc. and more photos on checkout. There’s an attendant there, why can’t he just check the customer in and out like a car rental?

Was very disappointed that the gas tank was not full. It was less than half a tank. I returned the vehicle just under full. Also the vehicle smell like car urine which was less than delightful. There was a chip in the windshield that was not noted when I rented the vehicle. I alerted the place to let them know that there was a chip in the driver side windshield. Also would have appreciated notification that I could have picked up the vehicle when the rental place was not open so that I would not have to pay for two days of rental. Overall it was fine but feel like I left the vehicle nearly full of gas which cost $50 which I feel like I should be credited for Happy to discuss further if you would like via my contact info

I was not asked to take a picture of the fuel gauge so had no sense of how much fuel to replenish. I think I drove 16 miles and was charged about $14 which is ridiculous. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. Most rental services ask you to top off.

Milage rate was way too high. It made the cost of the rental far too expensive. Given the total cost of the rental, I would have saved money hiring movers to do the whole thing for me.
