The cab of the truck was really dirty and cover with dog hair. It was obvious that it hadn’t been vacuumed out recently.

I rented a trailer online from this location for 24 hours. I also selected to drop it off at this location as well. When I arrived, the worker tried making it a one way rental so I would drop it off in a different location, due to having too many trailers at this site. This happened after the employee made it sound like he would try to find me a trailer since I was later than expected to pick it up. I told the employee I would rather just drop it off here, at the same location. When returning the trailer, a different employee came out and asked where I got the trailer, I told him I rented it here. He seemed to be upset and confused about it. I told him that a different employee wanted to have me return it to a different location, but that is not how I rented it. The employee told me I'm not dropping it off at the correct site. I then told him I have paperwork, an email, and a voicemail indicating my rental terms that it was to be returned to the same location. The employee then unhooked the trailer and said we will figure this out inside and said, "lets go" and walked away. Like I was a child in trouble. I went inside and he continued to be condescending to me. I had to explain repeatedly that this was not my mistake. This was a mistake made by a different employee and my reservation was very clear as I had no intention of dropping it off at another site. These people have absolutely no clue what they are doing or how to treat other human beings. I will find another location in the future.

The cab and back hadn't been cleaned out. The back was full of dirt that looked like plants had been hauled and dumped along the way. The front had trash and fast food containers and random pennies strewn around. The check-in agent was horrifically rude. I have used U-Haul many times in the past with mostly very good experiences and was appalled about this guy's attitude. He seemed offended that I showed up on time and needed to check out the truck for my move. He was inconvenienced by having to stop playing on his phone to process my paperwork. Then he wouldn't even allow me to select my drop off location and picked one himself, telling me that I'd just have to deal with it even if it wasn't a convenient location for me.

The employee who hooked up trailer up was quite possibly the biggest asshole I have ever dealt with at one of your locations. Extremely rude and unpleasant, to the point that I would consider never renting through the Bloomington location again. I suggest you have a chat with him and figure out what his issue is with his attitude.

I waited nearly 25 minutes in line, and I was the next customer to be helped. One of the employees had to restart a reservation 3 times for another customer because he didn’t understand the process, and the other employee spent much too long with a customer who clearly had maxed out credit cards and wasn’t able to pay. I filled out the expedited check in online, so I expected the process to be much faster, but it wasn’t. The employee just read back all the information to me that I had entered online to verify - this saves little to no time. I was also berated for not purchasing the $10 insurance coverage and told that, “we WILL bill you directly, and you can deal with your insurance company at your own speed.” I expect a better customer experience than this.

The trailer I rented had a noise when speed was 60-70mph. Sounded like metal on metal, maybe a wheel bearing. Other than that, it worked fine.



The line was long when I picked up the trailer. More customer service needed that morning. It was good when I returned the trailer.






Very stressful process. Had an appointment for hitch installation and they didn't know about the appointment. U-Haul dropped the ball. This was in Minneapolis location not Bloomington.

Cut counter waiting time. Customers with reservations were commingled with walking. Waited more than an hour after our reserved time - just to be served!

There were some bits & pieces of trash that should of been cleaned out of the van.



Checked in my truck. Had three pieces of cardboard in the back. One guy said it was fine to toss in the dumpster as it was not much at all. Manager came out made me check out the truck go dump it in a dumpster somewhere and return. To recheck in. Also I return truck with 6 gallons extra of gas. Why is there no credit if you're over yet you charge more when somebody comes up 6 gallon short. This policy is ridiculous. So after I rechecked in my vehicle. I asked another representative if I could use the bathroom as this was a one-way rental and now I was waiting for a cab to go to the airport. He said the restroom was not for use by the General Public. I am a paying customer not the General Public. I will surely be getting my $1,600 next time to another rental company. This location was so insulting an defensive on so many levels. Please just refund my $50 credit for getting bounced around from the first location. You should send out a regional manager to talk to whoever is running the Minnesota location. They need some retraining or dismissal. Customer service is a joke.

Location was manned by one person - we had to wait in line for over 15 minutes before anyone even approached us. We were then bluntly told we wouldn't be receiving a partial refund for returning our trailer early. Unhelpful and disappointing service!

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I was not thrilled that I was charged for gas because the gas gauge did not work properly, as well as being charged a full day for the truck, insurance, and dolly because I was 2 hours later than anticipated. Charging a pro-rated rate would be more professional and better customer service.

Truck ran rough. Spoke with UHaul employee and he noted previous customer had used E85 fuel which caused the transmission hesitation. Also, charged for a dolly which was not used. Called and it was removed from invoice. Overall, good experience. Very busy location.
