The driver's seat belt connector in the van was broken (the seat belt could still be done up) and the seat belt alarm went off the whole time. The right rear door's sensor was also broken, and the van kept warning us to close it (it was closed and locked). We mentioned both of these things to the clerk and he said he knew about them. We won't choose to rent from this location again.

To make sure the gas tank is full when it is rented to the next person
RICHARD Mthe pricing was bad, they would not give me an exact estimate until i was done using it. and they charged me a very high price for only one hour and a half. I was told $19 was the base price and i thought it would be somewhere in the $30 but it was much higher.

Felix SDisappointed with My U-Haul Experience Despite Booking Well in Advance I reserved my U-Haul in March for a scheduled pickup on April 29, well in advance to ensure a smooth and timely move. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. I arrived at the location at exactly 8:30 PM, only to be informed that the truck was still an hour away. The in-store representative had no concrete answers or solutions, and the lack of communication and coordination was highly frustrating. Despite having ample time to plan, it was clear that no contingency or backup arrangements were in place. This delay caused significant disruption to my moving schedule. To make matters worse, the truck I finally received felt extremely outdated. It made concerning noises during the drive, and air was leaking through what seemed to be a broken or damaged window. I’m grateful we arrived safely, but the condition of the vehicle added unnecessary stress. While I do appreciate that the representative had set aside a dolly for me, which was helpful, the overall service experience left much to be desired. It's not solely his fault, but better coordination and customer support are essential—especially when customers book weeks in advance. This experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards I expect from a company as established as U-Haul.
