The staff was not well trained to explain uhaul policies for truck vs can rental clearly or using a positive professional tone. The manager attempted to fix it and also made errors incorrectly typing my return location resulting in endless calls for no reason from the UHAUL location

I did after hours drop off, which went very smoothly.



When I walked in the staff didn't acknowledge me nor my friend and it took a couple of minutes to get their attention (too busy conversing) apologies. If it wasn't for the fact that I HAD to get my bed that particular day I would've walked out. I found that to be poor customer service.

Service above and beyond duty. Uhaul trailer light adapter was incorrectly installed at another location and Micky (manager) came out and did a quick fix - others may have said its broken and can't be fixed but Mickey diagnosed and repaired it in 10 minutes. He saved my bacon!!!

Customer service workshop, employees at this location lack on providing service to the customer. They see the customer waiting on line and they don't attend the customer they carry on with their personal conversations. Once you get to the front desk they seem like they tired they don't want to deal with you. The slim dark skin girl with black hair is very rude she's always tired.

I am currently having problem with the manager. We were not instructed properly and return the truck to a location a couple of blocks away and the managers has been exchanging emails with us tell us "that everything is not ok" I would not return to this location for por comunication on the staff as well as poor acomodations from the manager

This is not a comment about the 383 Grand Concourse site, but rather the Harlem site (3260 Broadway) which I called first and referred me to the Grand Concourse site. I had not experienced such bad customer service before. When I first called, someone picked up the phone, never introduced themselves, and carried on a conversation with an in-store person that I later realized was their friend. They eventually said hello (no name, introduction, or mention of the store name), I stated my name and location, and asked if they had a truck available in the window I needed. The man said "hold." Then he returned to his conversation with his friend. I could hear every detail of this conversation the whole time, including that they were talking about texting a girl (with a customer on the phone). At some point around 10 minutes into me being on "hold," a bell rang and a customer presumably walked in, he dealt with them for around 5 minutes, and then he returned to his conversation with his friend. By thirty minutes in I was still on "hold," he hadn't said anything new to me beyond the two words he had spoken earlier, and I tried yelling to bring his attention to the phone. I didn't succeed, so I hung up and tried again during my next break. The next call got through, he did speak to me and even then he was kinda rude, but he did eventually forward me to the Grand Concourse branch which made a reservation right away. Absolutely awful customer service and a huge waste of my time.
