Uhaul policy of privacy are rediculous and out to make customers feeling vulnerable and took advantages. I have my employee return the truck at this location at 8.45 PM. There should be easy way to record the return or looking at your video tape of the facility, I’m very sure that you have . I called n log in computer to notify the return. Customer service 800# was very rude transferred me to other number that nobody pick up. Uhaul will not recognize that we returned the truck at 8.45 PM unless we have photos of gas n not sure what other photos to assure the place n time. And trying to charge extra $20 for morning return instead . BAD BUSINESS !.

System down but accommodated by later return, empty gas tank but returned with 1/4 tank, charged for 35 miles vs 30 actual miles: the rep called me over with the invoice already printed and didn't bother to mention mileage. Didn't argue, since I was already behind schedule for the day.

The only reason I went to this location was because the truck that I had reserved at 220 e 117th st was completely unavailable leaving me stranded without a truck and having to go far out of my way into another borough to get a truck. Your company is a mess and I can’t believe I was charged full price. Your “guarantee” was that I would have a truck or that you would give me $50. Where is it?

My belongings were stolen from the truck after being told that I couldn’t park in the lot because the store was closed. I was advised to buy a lock for the truck and park outside the lot. The company needs to change the policy on where to park trucks after hours so situation like this doesn’t happen in the near future. I lost over close to $9000 worth of clothes, jewelry, and sentimental value.

Employee at the desk provided great service. However, the gentleman who gave us the keys did not go over to the truck with us to do an inspection or talk about the gas tank. He just pointed to a truck and said “That one.” The truck was in bad shape — rubber guards around the doors were loose and got in the way of driving and it had terrible suspension. It got the job done, but we did not feel particularly safe or looked-after in the process.

All though there were only two people working on a busy Saturday the Representatives were very courteous and professional.
