First the location has no paved surfaces - so the truck floors were messy. Second I reserved my truck online for pick up in Marshall MN. Two days before my pick up date I stopped by to make sure everything would be ready. I was informed they did not have a truck for me and were not aware of my reservation. They gave me an 800 number to call. Why was I not made aware of the pick up location? It was more than an hours drive away I needed to arrange a ride!!! In addition to the inconvenience and extra time!! Your online reservation communications need to be fixed

Just late a few min but charged extra for a day price... Should be prorated the price of a day to how any hour, min or second we late...

When I picked the truck up he made the comment that the truck had trouble starting. He left it running to charge up the battery. When I got to my destination, I shut the truck off. After 2 hours we went to start it and the battery was dead. I called Kyle to see what to do. He told me to see if I could get it started. I was glad dad had a battery charger. It took 5 to 10 minutes before it would start. I called Kyle to tell him. I brought it back to Brookings and he put a different battery in it. I told him he would have to make it right. He said he would. I still got charged more than he told me. I have tried to call him with no answer. He is avoiding me. What should I do?

picked up before business hours, the truck had 300 more miles on it than the contract showed, was all most out of gas and extremely dirty inside and out, in spite of calling and telling the agent in Fargo about the problem, they charged me for 297 miles over the allowed amount and for gas even though I left it with almost half a tank. I called them again and was promised the area manager would call me the next day and he did not, I called again and again was told he would call me and resolve the issue, he has not as of Tuesday, The rental was on Saturday and the Truck was returned on Sunday. I have time dated pictures of everything and five adult witnesses and they are not through with me yet. Its a shame, i have rented from U Haul over 30 times in my life and never had a problem.

The hours at this location are extremely inconvenient. Most people start packing in the morning... not at noon. We had to check in via phone, which was convenient, but it took us 35 minutes! I also almost drove into a ditch because the office was separated from where the trucks were and it looked like one large gravel lot. Scary!

No one was at the location when I arrived on Friday, 8/11/17 at 427 pm. However, when I called to find out what procedure was to drop off, I was informed when I spoke to the UHaul employee for the location that he was not there as he was moving a truck to another location. This really frustrated me as there are multiple locations in Sioux Falls and 1 in Brandon where I live and I was told by UHaul customer service that moving a truck to one of the Sioux Falls or Brandon locations to make my experience better and to meet the original rental contract was not an option. This is a total double standard. There are many options for this type of service but I have always thought of UHaul as my first option. My opinion is certainly changing. How this issue is handled will determine if I ever call again and my opinion will be shared with my family and friends. Full refund is the best option.
