The pickup process experience was frustrating. I had to wait in line and then had to wait again outside for the truck because the attendant couldn't find it. The customer service was very good, they were friendly and courteous.

Hello I had reserved in advance a 20 foot truck only to be told there was not one available and had to take a smaller truck which makes you use more miles ans time this is not right.

Provide drop off locations instead of telling a customer to call a phone number that only operates during certain business hours and train employees to be capable of solving problems. Uhaul should also invest some time and capital in resolving the drop off scheduling system. I picked up the truck in Brooklyn, was traveling to CT and was asked to drop it off in Long Island. That is ridiculously stupid and my guess is the Uhaul system only calculates geographic distance based on how the crow flies, not by actual road miles. I will not be using Uhaul again for my moving rental needs after the horrible experience.

I rented a 17' truck to move some items about 60 miles. when I picked up the truck it ah 1/4 tank of gas so i had to put gas in it. After loading the truck we discovered it had a serious antifreeze leak. we called roadside assistance and they said they had no idea how long it would take someone to get there and they told us we could wait or return it to the rental location if we felt it could make it. we unloaded the truck and returned it to the rental location. even though we couldn't use the truck they still charged me milage and rental. they gave me a $10 discount on the rental. So I'm out $56.82 for the rental and milage, $35 for gas and a lost day. if the truck was well maintained this would not have happened. I explained the situation to the agent and felt i should not be changed for the rental. I offered to pay for the milage but all they would do is give me a $10 discount. i have rented trucks and trailers from this location many time and never had an issue. This is terrible customer service and customer loyalty. chris



I was initially told that I had to make sure the tank was 1/2 full and when we were given the truck, the attendant then changed it to 1/4 since that is the way it was given to me. We were unable to return the truck by 11:30 and no one was there to assist us with returning the truck, but my issue is that there was no update between the attendant in the lot and the person at the front desk as to the change that was made in that regard and I am not sure if the refund of the extra $40 I was charged has been processed or issued yet

This location lack sufficient symbols like: entrance, truck pick up. Also it's better to organize the movers at outside, instead of letting them asking to help arbitrarily.
