Front counter customer service representative. Should take their time to explain the customers. The fees and the rate per Miles. I was very disappointed with the payment. With my U-Haul rental. I pay a high price for the U-Haul rental. And I rented a U-Haul before. And never had this bad experience.

I have to drive 16 miles back and forth because they change my pickup location on my moving day at morning which was totally inconvenient

The person that checked my truck back could not read the writing of the person that checked my truck out. So, she gave me a huge hassle and now my bill has been charged another $70 on top of my lease fee, because of this person lack of incompetence. I am not paying that extra $70 dollars and if i could get someone on the line from your company that would be an amazing feat.

Person in queens said we owe an extra $130.00 because we did not say where we were dropping truck off in queens. Why would I rent a truck in nj and take it back to nj makes no sense. Need someone to call me asap

Employees were so rude, we waited almost 30 minutes in the cold to be given our vehicle, and there were so many non Uhaul workers who were lurking around the parking lot and harassing us to help us move. Our total online was $120, but in person it was $220, so when we asked why it was $100 more the woman told us with an attitude that it was only if we were paying in cash in the rudest tone (we were super confused by this - sorry you're having a bad day but don't take it out on us?). I told her I was paying with a card, and she said "okay" and for me to swipe (it still said $220 on the screen), so I explained to her that I didn't want to because the price was $100 more than what I agreed to online when I ordered the van. I'm not kidding when I say she literally said each word from here on out with a solid 2 seconds in between. "It will change to $120 after you swipe your card ma'am..." Sorry, but I've never heard of that ever in a shopping experience - the price drops by $100 after you swipe your card... Then we waited outside in the cold for literally 30 minutes - NO JOKE - while the two rude women inside stared at us. What kind of service is this? Do you seriously hate your job that much? We were literally stared at while we waited in the cold, and they're just sitting there, helping no one, while we wait for some guy who was cleaning a truck 50 ft away to finish so we could give him the keys, he could unlock the van next to us, and we sign the form that we were holding. Unbelievably terrible experience - seriously fire everyone here EXCEPT for the black guy with the afro - he came up to us after 30 minutes from working in a different area and asked us if we were being helped, to which we responded NO, PLEASE HELP US THIS IS ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS. He was super nice. Keep him, but as someone who worked in customer service for years, seriously fire the two women who work the check in/computer area.

I was overcharged by almost $500 and I've been trying to get ahold of someone for over a week. I've spoke with at least 5 or 6 different people and still nothing is resolved yet. Every time I call they tell me the manager isn't available yet never seems to call me back.

The location on 4th avenue is fine. However, my original van was booked for the 666 Washington Ave location and THAT WAS AWFUL. Arrived on a rainy sunday morning to find out a group of people stranded outside the location unable to get their keys. A ton of parked Uhaul vans and someone didnt bother to assign the key reservations to the bookings so everyone had to haul-ass (no pun intended) over to Park Slope, wait in line, and finally get going with their move 2hrs after their reservation time.

Please inspect all equipment before renting it out. We rented a hand truck that was defective and one of the wheels came off damaging a dresser of mine. Besides that the customer service was very good.

I was charged for a dent that I DID NOT put on the truck. It was filthy dirty and impossible to see all the dents in the vehicle prior to leaving the facility. I had no accident and was with the truck at all times.

Working people act like a wild animals. Scream at you in attempt to get confused/scared. Lady behind the counter was something between prison guard and teacher. Aggressive and stupid people work there. They were nice last 30 second......probably because they know that something like this review exists. Group of wild clowns that listen only when you show them that you can not to be nice too.... Very bad
