My only concern was that there was only one way to pull in the truck because the other entrance was blocked by other U-Haul vehicles; I either had to back up and drive on the sidewalk to get to the available entrance (which I did), or go around the entire block to come to the available entrance (which I didn't, because I was pressed for time).

the truck did not have an air conditioner working and we are expecting a refund credit of at least $35 because i had to choke with no air conditioner working what so ever this is not fair please confirm, our $35 credit thank you

Call center/web assistor Elizabeth was not knowledgeable and provided false information different from what onsite staff provided. Forced to order an uber ride expanse for card holder to arrive to the pick up location despite that the drive on order was already present and provided all requested info by app.

I had problems using the express online checking-in tool. The page kept refreshing because "an error has occurred" and I would have to start all over again. Then I told the staff person that I had also rented pads and a furniture dolly. He asked to see the order but every time I clicked on "View order details" it would send me back to the dashboard home. He tried too but did not succeed. He just took my word and gave it to me. This location did not have the furniture dolly I needed to move a couch and a bed. The staff person offered a regular hand truck that I did not use it since it is not practical with long pieces of furniture such as a couch and bed. It made this moving rather inconvenient. I also had problems with the express drop-off. There are just too many steps involved. I had to take a ton of pictures in the rain, the pages kept refreshing and i had to start all over again. My phone was so wet that it stopped working, and then, to top it all, the staff person started yelling at me to hurry up even though I was returning it 3 hours earlier than I rented it for. Sir/Madam I did not receive a "clean hand-off" of the truck and accessories that I rented. Although representative, Tiffany, tried her best, I did not receive Proper Rental Contract Documents. I received a piece of paper with supposedly "rental information, etc". I had to Google your location to find the location's phone number. I did not receive the Hand-truck/Dolly AND the Blankets, as ordered, causing me to return to pick them up.The truck kept stalling out; along with continuous beeping, with the dashboard notice of "SERVICE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM". I was afraid to stop to buy gas, or to shut off the truck. We were continuously worried because the vehicle barely made it back to 6615 New Utrecht Ave., AND there the truck then refused to start. Lucky for us? This was a very unpleasant experience for us. I left a message approx 10AM for the manager to contact me, however, it's now approx. 5 hours later, and my phone message had not been returned. Please do something to make me feel better about this rental

The right side mirror had a loose screw, so the mirror would not stay in position. We had to fix this ourselves on the road. I wish this had been checked and corrected for us before we received our truck rental.

Drop off location was changed to one less convenient, and it was difficult to figure out where I was supposed to go and whether or not I needed to go during regular business hours.

U-Haul has an awful drop-off process that appears to be unchanged since the 1980s, requiring 15 mins standing in line and manual paperwork to confirm gas and mileage. All car rental companies have figured out how to use hand-held scanners to acquire and input necessary info to enable quick drop-off of vehicles (both local and one-way).

Was in midst of using the uhaul app to pick up my van. while half way through another customer went into the van that I had listed and drove away. When I looked at my app it told me I had to go to another location in Queens to pick up my van. I went to the counter that had a line and waited 1/2 hour for them to get me another van. On the return, all employees were busy and I had to go to counter and wait about 20 minutes to return the van as once again the app was not working.

The back latch didn’t work and it took us some time to figure it out for it to be closed. I expected that this wouldn’t have happened. This really affected my overall experience.
