I was to pick up the van at a different, specified location. The location was not open on Saturdays but was listed as an option online anyway. Had to come to this different location which set the move back 2 hours and cost us time and money. A $50 credit offered by phone was not fulfilled, when called later to check on it there was no record of the offer. Will prefer another service in the future. Thanks.

The workers were very rude in the morning when I picked up the trucked! I called them to let them know I was running late and they argued that I did not. Your return process is so stupid because not everyone has access to the internet to create an account. I will never go through your company and I will let everyone know what a horrible company you all are!!

Need to actually provide customer service. Rude and not helpful. There was a leftover marijuana blunt in truck and ashes i had to throw out. Not clean at all. Def need to reassess location.



If you don't have smart phone don't know how to use it. they still want you sing up first for account than they will give u the rental truck. you will kill your business like, this or even though I have smart phone know how to use it and i don't wanna make the account. I just came you serve me and give me the truck in and out. quick. I am paying for service. what big deal doing on smart phone?

The booking system the U-Haul Reps use seems to be unstable. Both my reps and the rep working with the client next to me had their systems crash and information needed to be re-entered twice. By then the line behind us has 4-5 customers all waiting.

As always it is hard to avoid none inapplicable charges - gas level or miles. It does not matter if at the time you take a truck miles or gas level printed on your contact do not match actual and you ask employee to adjust, they would write a note on your contract but they would never pay attention on this correction upon you return the truck and will try to charge wrong and more according how it was printed from their system. You are lucky if location is still open and you can point to it but do it before they close contract or once closed and printed you will feel guilty to ask to fix this mistake as it is already a big deal to go backward and adjust. You have no chance if you return overnight as they would never close a contract with correct miles or gas level. Be aware, it so decent and annoying game they would play with almost anyone

Explain or state that any gas over what is required is non refundable nor applicable for a credit. Otherwise a simple and good experience. Staff were courteous, equipment was clean, and process quick.

Extremely Poor service, never using U-Haul Again. It’s 14 degrees and snowing in NYC, none of the equipment I asked for was loaded on the truck. When I returned the the truck, the employee Sean told me I had to unload the hand truck and movers blankets myself and walk across a snow filled parking lot, he never checked any of the equipment and When i asked why I had to do this myself, the employee Sean laugh and told me it wasn’t his job to assist me removing any equipment on the truck. After a long day of moving, I had to unpack my own rental in the snow what a joke. What the hell is the point having an employee to assist you outside with the returns process if they’re not helpful???

I suggest U-Haul staff being more organized and keep better communication among them. When I was going to pickup my equipment, a lady located at the front desk told me to get the truck keys from someone located at the parking lot; when I talked to that person, he told me the contrary, to return to the office to get the keys because he does not used to provide such keys.
