I reserved a 12' x 6' trailer online on 04/01/2026 to pick up from this location on 04/09/2026. I was told that I would receive a telephone call confirming my reservation by 04/02/2026. I had not received a call by 04/06/2026 and visited this location to confirm my reservation. The location had no record of my reservation and did not have the trailer that I had reserved. I received a call from U-Haul on 04/07/2026, two days before my scheduled pick-up and was told that the location did not have the trailer I reserved on 04/01/2026 and would not be receiving one. My options were to drive an hour in the opposite direction to pick one up from a neighboring town, or use a smaller size at this location. If I picked up the trailer I reserved an hour away, I would have to return it an hour away or pay four to five times the price that I would pay for pick-up and return to the same location. I do not know why it took six full days for someone to reach out to me to let me know that I could not have what I reserved, or even why the trailer I wanted was an option online when it was not available at the location. Overall, I am satisfied with the location as they tried to rectify the problem, but am completely unsatisfied with U-Haul and their inability to provide what was promised at the price that was promised.

They didn't know how to work the new system, they claimed, and couldn't give me the rate I had gotten from the app but the app said they didn't have a truck to begin with, so overall it was a complete hassle. They gave me a hard time about the process and didn't really want to work with uhaul anymore. I feel I was overcharged.
Angela RNo cell service - No Key drop that I could find. I had to call Support when I got back to Snowshoe and had cell service. I locked the truck and threw the keys over the fence. Then I was hit with the extra milage charge. Uhaul knew that was the only place for miles around to handle Uhaul. Extra miles should have been added automatically. Never spoke to personnel - called Support I'm sure the people are very nice there - whole community is very nice
