Employees not wearing masks in confined space. No indication the van was sanitized. I brought my own sanitary wipes. Guy was snarky when I balked at $8 in gas for 17 miles. 100% markup? Not told price in advance otherwise i would've topped it off. "So you didn't use any gas? " he asked. Then told me i can take it to gas station. I live 25 houses away from this business and I will NOT use them again.

I never have a problem with this facility. I have used Dave's many times. I am concerned though about the billing and why I was charged $193.46?
My pick up place kept getting changed and it was not at the designated location when I went to pick it up. I even got a notification right as I was picking up the truck that it was at a location in Amherst. Thanks to Robert at Dave's Auto, I was finally able to pick it up Saturday morning (7/20/19). He made a special trip in so that I could pick up my truck.
Anna went far above and beyond to help me. The pick-up and drop-off experience couldn't have gone more smoothly. I will always recommend this location for U-Haul services.
This experience was a nightmare. I scheduled my pickup over the phone. I requested an appliance dolly and a 20 foot truck. I was told everything would be ready for me. I got a call about 4 hours later saying that they cant give me the truck I requested even though thay had already told me it would be ready. So they made me drive MUCH further out of my way to a totally different location costing me more in gas and mileage. The dolly I requested was not in the truck even though I paid for it. I was VERY upset about the entire situation. The whole experience was terrible and I never want to put myself through that again.
It makes it so much easier when what you are renting is all at one location. I had to go to different locations to get the rental equipment I needed. Very irritating. Doing this put on extra mileage to the truck I rented, causing additional time needed to fully complete my rental.

David's Star Automotive worked hard to fix an issue we had and I left very happy. The truck we had reserved was not returned when it was supposed to be, and Davids gave me a larger truck at the same cost to make up for it. I would go back to them again and recommend them to anyone.

I have pictures to prove..... contract stated 1/4 tank of gas at the exact mileage on speedometer and contract. However, it was barely above empty. We had to go and get gas BEGORE we left the street. Told attendant and gave her copy of pictures. All she kept saying is that they aren't allowed to go get gas for the trucks. If they handle gas in this manner, it makes me wonder how poorly they upkeep other things like oil, tires, maintenance, etc. One of the poorest experiences we have had with Uhaul. Extremely concerned on the condition of your rentals and will be from here on out. Are you really watching for our safety as the signs in the truck rentals say? Today, it blatantly smacked us on the face. Shame on you to take safety so lightly. On a Positive note: Anna the attendant was courteous.

Great staff and location. Very helpful and friendly. Made the entire experience easy. Everything was clean, well maintained, and on time. I have rented from MANY Uhaul locations, and this I think is the best run and most professional.
I called the day before to make arrangements. Working under a time pressure schedule. We arrived early(before your business opened) for pick up and to handle details and were on our way within 5 minutes of our scheduled truck ready time. Phone and in person employees courteous, helpful and pleasant. Returned the vehicle after your business closure time as arranged and had an email response from you the next morning within a half hour of your opening so that we knew you had the truck. Also informed in advance that we would get a larger truck at the price of the smaller we requested at the same price as smaller truck as a smaller truck was not available. Thank you very much enjoyed working with you. .
I've always had a great experience using uhaul. This specific one was terrible. First, I requested a 20 foot truck with a truck tow trailer a week before my move from the Niagara falls Blvd location. Got a call from dispatch that they had to change my location to a Kenmore one because it was larger and I would have a better chance of getting what I needed. Not ideal, that would mean more mileage price but ok. I can accept that if I could get the truck I needed. They said I'd get a call the following Wednesday to confirm this. I did get a call last Wednesday and they said the location had to be changed again to the 1400 Genesee location to get the trailer and the truck size they had wasn't the 20 foot truck I needed it was only 17 foot. I was a bit tight with money from Christmas so it wasn't financially realistic for me to get a truck from one location and drive to another for the trailer to then go to my house and move everything..go to the NEW location and then bring the truck to uhaul after...not for $.99/mile. So I said fine and went on Saturday to pick up the truck. There were a few people waiting in line and the staff seemed nice enough. Got the truck, we moved and we brought it back to a uhaul dealer close to me which wasn't the pick up destination. I was COMPLETELY UNAWARE there's a difference between in town and one way options. No one at the pick up location explained this to me and the manager is the one who set up the contract for me. I specifically mentioned the location we were moving from and the ending location for us. I also mentioned that I would be bringing the truck back to wherever was closest to me which happened to be the Hopkins rd location. I thought, why pay for 7 more miles when I can pay for 1?? When I said what my plan was no one mentioned that they decided to set me up for in town uhaul and what that meant for my described plan. In other words, if I brought the truck to a drop off other then where I picked it up they would charge me an over $200 fee because I dropped it off about 6 miles away! When I saw the primisary note in my e mail the very next day I called the drop off location and they told me to call Genesee location who then explained what and why I was being charged and to apologize for NOT EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FIRST PLACE TO ME!! I was told to call the Hopkins store and see if they would reverse the contract and open it up again so I could drive that truck back to the Genesee store and they would cancel the charge. The manager then explained to me that the truck we rented specifically belonged to his store and they have trucks for in town only rentals and trucks for one way rentals. This truck was a in town rental to which he again apologized for not explaining that to me when initially signing me up. I hung up and called back the Hopkins location and explained the conversation with the woman who answered the phone. She spoke to her manager who got on the phone with me and she said, "I'm sorr
Truck was not fueled.
It took way too long to get the vehicle. The clerk couldn't figure out the transaction to the computer. He had to get help from someone else. The return process was terribly painstakingly long. The same guy couldn't how to figure out how to issue a receipt. He apologized ten times but I would rather have had a timely transaction. Way too long!
