Horrible experience with U-Haul. The head office is the o my thing saving this company. But they need to do a better job of vetting U-Haul vendors. Had a vendor in Burnaby BC that was horrible. No customer service ability, provided the wrong code for the back of the truck (I can provide pictures) and also did not provide me with the furniture fillet, utility fillet or cover blankets I had purchased. When I went in for my check in at 4pm, the dealer said they only do mobile check in. They gave a code for the lock on the truck that was incorrect and I was stuck there for an hour figuring it out. I tried to call them back, no answer. They closed by 5 and there was no after hours line. Then I called head office and they gave me me the proper information. I have since requested a refund and head office told me to call the dealer which I warned them wasn’t going to go anywhere, and after I called the dealer told me to call head office. So I’m out money and injured myself during the move because I didn’t have the proper tools that I needed and paid for ahead of time

I was double charged on my credit card for only one days use, not two. Multiple bills sent to me. I paid in full then had another $114 taken off. Not impressed and won't use again. However will talk to my credit card company for a refund.
Paul MThere was no one physically at this location to help us. The door was locked. No one was inside. We called the number of the door and were greeted in Cantonese and then directed to use the app or call U-Haul directly if we needed help. When we called back a second time due to issues with the app during return, the call just went to a voicemail box.
Justin HMain person contact is unhelpful and shows little respect, failing to provide essential information such as the PIN. The location is excellent, but third-party associates seem virtually nonexistent, and there is no customer service whatsoever.
