I think it's unreasonable to demand the personal information of a second person in order to secure a rental, particularly when that person has no relevance to the rental in question. Even if we're going to grant that a second point of contact is necessary (it's not, and it's never been demanded of me in any of my prior rentals), a simple phone number and first name should be sufficient. You have my drivers licence. You have my credit card. You don't need access to some irrelevant second party's information as well. And the claim that it's "in case we can't get ahold of you" is ridiculous. If you can't get a hold of me, neither can the person who's information you're demanding. There's no rational reason to demand this information and it's a suspicious practice in the first place.

24/7 wasn’t set up for me although I had specified pick up after hours, that was painful. I had been dropped off and therefore froze as this got straightened out which took almost 45 minutes.

Not happy at all with the service .. rented a truck in the morning and the lady at the counter didn’t provided needful information about the after hours drop off and whatever convenience fee they call .. and when you call to clarify rude customer service and said everything is on the contract .. I wonder to read this much long contract in the stress of moving ... GANG OF THIEVES ... Shitty place to Rent ... not recommend at all ...

The trailer wasn't that clean, I guess the perception of clean differs from person to person. It seems renting equipment gets more complex when it comes to the paperwork. Otherwise staff was great and helpful.

The change where we couldn't have the truck for more than 5 hours on a weekend was very restricted, particularly at this location where when we drove by to drop in storage across the way, a lot of rental trucks were still sitting in the parking lot. I can understand being restricted if all the trucks were booked, but it didn't appear to be. We spent 4 hours longer moving than we planned because of this.

Even though I reserved online and supplied all the necessary paperwork, I was told to just come in verify your License and CC, and I would be on my way. I showed up at 9:00 am and there was only 1 service rep working and 4 people who did not pre-book.waiting in line. Cant say I was very pleased with the wait. By the time I was processed and hooked up the trailer it was 10:00 am. I showed the yard guy how dirty the trailer and the box was. Other than that the trailer was solid and easy to tow

UHaul has starting cutting corners in every way possible and the customer can tell. Understaffed and using technology and gimicks to replace workers and put more onus on the customer to complete the rental process. Convenience suffers. Price stays the same. This will hopefully spell the end of the business and the corporate paper pushers (and their $2.7 billion a year salaries) who keep designing new ways to screw over their clients.

it was easy and very convenient..



1.) When I first booked a truck in this Uhaul store, there was a lady staff repeated loudly for my name, phone number and address. It had a few customers were waiting behind me, she disclosed my personal information to all people. Although I told her to not speak so loud, I didn’t want people would hear my personal information. She ignored me and kept doing the computer. She was not professional enough. 2.) Most staff look very tired for my several visits recently. They didn’t have smile, just like a robot.

The uhual was towed and impounded because it was assumed abandoned but it was parked in a parking lot for less than 8 hours. I was not contacted by uhual regarding this even though they were notified immediately by the city and I was charged an additional 6 days rental of the truck for no reason. The staff at this location were rude and not helpful at all.
