I was provided with the wrong van. INstead of being provided BE 0365J I was given BE 0635J. An easy mistake, however the van I was given had different fuel levels and mileage.

Everyone was great and friendly, only thing I forgot to mention at the return was the door needed to be greased up with WD-40. It was sticking a lot so we got it moving ok with some spray. But really, who doesn't have WD-40 hanging around? Otherwise, it was great, everyone was friendly and helpful and the price for the trailer was awesome. Thanks guys!

I have rented a couple times now. This was the first with the smaller unit. I should have asked if you rent ramps it would have made things so much easier to load. I just assumed it had a pull out ramp but my fault for not checking that out.

We rented a vehicle to bring "large boxes & wardrobes" to (1) of our (3) storage units. When we get back to drop off. ACCESS to the INSIDE GARAGE AREA is totally BLOCKED (as it typically is). The outside area ; FULL of ICE - we slipped more than 5 times. We;ve COMPLAINED over and over on both: garage area & ice issues for years & years and no one ever addresses. Considering how long we've been renting (3 units). We are not happy at all.

I am not sure why I needed to make a booking time to get the trailer I was looking for....as of 9am that day the lineup of people was out the door and I did not get to speak to anyone until well after 10:am which was pointless to make an appointment. Either add more staff or do not make booking appointments. Thank

The operation was poorly organized and understaffed. We were told there was a "management meeting" leaving one service rep to handle a line of customers that stretched out the door. It took more than 30 minutes to return a furniture dolly. Why some from "management" could not have helped is a mystery

Extremely slow service and appeared to be short-staffed. Requested an 8 am pickup, arrived at 7:55 and didn’t walk away with a truck until after 9. And we were the lucky ones with only one person standing in line ahead of us. By the time we left the lineup was pretty much out the door. Customer service inside was friendly, customer service outside was rude and impatient even though it took us 20 minutes to get his attention to mark our truck.

The door was jamming shut... But most of all we were threated by a staff in a voicemail for a trailer we had returned at the exact time when our contract ended after a 24 hour rental. There are serious management/staff training/hardware issues at this location which seemed to affect several clients. The issue took a month to resolve and involved several unnecessary threats. No amount of apology or credit can repay the lost time on the phone and stress inflicted on my family with the way this location has dealt with an issue they had initially created.

I had asked for my pick up location to be in Chestermere and the day before I was to pick up, I got a call that said I could either pick up the truck in Chestermere and the trailer in Calgary or pick up both at the Calgary Meridian drive location. I said I guess I’ll pick them up in Calgary that way it’s just one stop. The next day at the Calgary location, they told me I could only take the truck, then go home and load my stuff then come back to get the trailer because my insurance would be invalid if we took the trailer because they know we would need to remove it to load. So I had to make two trips to Calgary to get all my rental equipment. It was an additional 1 hour of driving to come back and forth. Had I known this up front. I would have got the truck in Chestermere because it is much closer to where I was living in Langdon and then would have picked just the trailer in Calgary. Also, the location in Calgary on Meridian Road, was understaffed. Two people on the checkouts and one working with the trucks. There were huge line ups and wait times were very long. I have to add though that everyone we spoke to in the whole process was very pleasant.

I booked a truck in the north west, which was close to my storage locker, then the day before I was texted to pickup the truck in the north east. I ended up paying for many more kilometres, because of your problems, not mine. When I asked about being compensated for this issue, it was a, “ Nothing could be done about it”. At least I didn’t get a flat tire like last time. Always disappointing at U- Haul.

With the mass confusion of broken trailers and different location pick ups throughout the day which is very inconvenient as we are preparing for a weekend wedding in Banff our reservation details were lost and we were reminded that perhaps we were a day late in the middle of the wedding when the rental was indeed actually for four days

Suggestions would be to have more than two agents checking in renters on Saturday morning (very busy, lineups) in addition to having more than one guy in the yard to get people into their equipment. Return process was good, two guys in the yard to check people in. Assistant Manager was very friendly and understanding.

The checkin process is not very efficient. Despite having completed the express checkin online, we still had to wait in a long line. You should implement an express line for those people who took the time to do the advance checkin.

Have more staff on hand to deal with customers and ideally have some who can adjust their pace as the line moves out the door. I did express check-in, which took 40 minutes of waiting and doing paperwork. Absolutely ridiculous. Had to wait for the vehicle to show up and again for someone to check the vehicle on return. Staff gestured towards some dollies and said that was the type I’d rented so I ended up having to go fetch that for myself. Express check-in description online needs to be seriously revised because it sounds as though vehicle will be ready upon arrival and you just scan it out. If express check-in necessitates contact with staff then at least have two separate queues so that those who did everything online don’t have to stand behind and wait for those customers who did not do the same. Utterly horrid experience. Pending outcome of a call from location manager I will post a Google review. At this point I say avoid at all costs. This location anyways. It’s been several years since I last rented a vehicle from U Haul.

Organize and manage better so customers don't have to wait 2.5 hrs in line to pick up their reserved trucks. Streamline the process so it doesn't take 1/2hr to book out your truck once you get to a representative. Also shouldn't have to wait outside holding a piece of paper trying to get someone to help you with your truck...another process that took 30 min. Terrible customer service over the phone. My return date on the truck never reflected the date I had originally arranged with multiple people and the contract never reflected the change. I was told I could drop my "one way truck" at the location of my final destination, when I asked where i was told that I would be called a day before by a representative to arrange that. Did not receive this call, only a text message. Once I got to the point of actually physically booking at the truck out I was required to drop the truck nowhere near where I had "thought" I had arranged over the phone, costing me significantly extra time and money . Worst service in any type of business I can remember ever experiencing in my life. WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN.
