The tank wasn't 1/2 full when we picked up the truck. There was only one staff person serving customers on a Saturday. One more staff member would have been helpful. Thank you.
The check in/ check out process needs to be quicker! Even using the online check in, you're still forced to stand in line and wait! The registration system need to become quicker!

Would be appreciated that in future the trailer tire pressure be correct for picking up a trailer rental. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to agree the tire pressure was too low (40 psi and should be 65). Also had to wait when returning the trailer.
The trailer appeared well maintained, it was certainly not clean though. Only one suggestion, the trailer floor is ridiculously slippery. Especially when wet. It's dangerous when walking in the trailer and it almost insures your goods will move around inside the trailer. Why do you not use a wood floor?
There was a left tail light not working on trailer but he said they knew about it. It didn't matter to me cause I was using trailer during the day. I was just surprised that uhaul didn't fix it before giving me the trailer.
Used the mobile phone check in. Had a bit of a problem getting the lock off but other than that, everything went great. Would definitely do it again.

I was unable to get the trailer I ordered because of an equipment problem. They then gave me a different trailer, which was ok considering everything but the trailer didn't have running day/ night lights. To me, this is extremely dangerous and I was flashed by many different drivers because of this. It was not the Barlow Trail location problem by any means but having those lights would have been a lot safer and better in my mind.
Not rent vehicles in winter if your corporate policy is to not drive them in snow. Absolute nightmare dealing with whole situation. I am happily telling everyone I know nothing to use your firm.
Belle Donnelly was fantastic when we arrived. We had originally booked our van at a self pick up location but were unable to to pick up the van. We then called customer service (Diane ?) who was also amazing. Belle was knowledgeable, efficient and very professional, helping out others without delaying our processing either. What a great U Haul employee!! I much prefer the locations with people there, makes all the difference in the world. Thomas
Hard to drive the truck without winter tire on it, especially during the time we move where the snow was 10cm atleast on our area.
I was charged a 20 dollar after hours fee which makes no sense because i was never told about that so i have been over charged
Four times I requested a smaller truck just to be sure I got one. It was an ordeal and it's not the first time. Same problem last time. I was charged more for a larger truck.
The cab of the truck had a fast food bag in it and the back was not swept out (lots of debris and a plastic storage bin lid was inside).
Never received the equipment I paid for. I was very unimpressed as I received two phone calls the night before to confirm and received an email confirm the rental of an appliance dolly with my truck. I had to dispute the charge for the appliance dolly I never received!
I do not know what is going on at this location, I have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with a factory-installed Hitch for pulling trailers. I was told by the site personally, that unless they could have the rubber on the hooks for the safety chains that I would not be allowed to take the trailer. This policy seems to be at this location only, as I have never been advised of this at the other locations around Calgary. Also, the yard person was not properly trained to use the unit for checking equipment in and out of the yard, he took over 40 minutes to process 2 vans ahead of me. When he went to check in the trailer, he had the Gaul to tell me that if one of the sealed light assemblies failed I would be charged for the new light assembly. What is going on?? You need to make sure NEW HIRES are properly trained and competent on the use of all equipment they are required to work with, this employee needs to be supervised and trained in the process of Customer Service, life is not all about him. I did not need to hear that he does not like or understand the iPhone he was given to do His job, he needs to take the time to learn it properly or be supervised until he becomes competent in it's use!! I wasted 45 minutes when I was checking the trailer out for use, and then another 45 minutes to get checked in, taking 20 minutes t check in a small van is rediculas.
