The location was convenient although the place was tricky for new driver to climb up all the ramps. Staff was ok, but didn’t check my extra equipment that I purchased so I paid extra dollars for nothing.

Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing regarding my recent rental (Contract No: 89415479) on August 29, 2025. I rented the vehicle at 8:47 PM and returned it on the same day at 11:45 PM. When I received the vehicle, the fuel tank was not full, which I documented with a photo of the dashboard at the time of pickup. Before returning the vehicle, I refueled it to the same level as when I received it. I only drove 11 miles during the rental period. I initially received a receipt showing $58 fuel charge, which is correct. However, today I received a new bill for $168, which is incorrect and does not reflect the actual fuel usage. I kindly request that this charge be reviewed and corrected immediately. I have attached the photo of the dashboard and the original receipt for your reference. Jodie VPoor Pickup Experience, Missing Equipment, dirty truck Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent rental experience. The day before my scheduled pickup, my location was unexpectedly changed to a hotel. Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the gentleman handling the U-Haul pickups was not trained for the task. He spent over 30 minutes on the phone receiving step-by-step instructions on how to process my rental, followed by another 30 minutes assisting hotel guests and speaking with the cleaning staff. Eventually, another person came to help and informed me that they didn’t have the truck size I had reserved—despite the correct truck being parked right at the front. This led to yet another half hour on the phone and 20 more minutes of that person sitting in the truck on the phone. After a hour and a half I was finally handed the keys. When I asked whether the equipment I had reserved (blankets, dolly, cart) was in the truck, I was assured it was. However, when I opened the back, none of the items were there. The only response I received was, “Call customer service.” I called customer service and they directed me to another location (Blackfoot Trail) to pick up the equipment. They had the dolly and blankets but not the cart. They suggested I go another location to pickup the cart. Having spent close to three hours on this pickup process, I gave up on the cart. By the way, I did not receive a credit for this missing items which caused inconvenience during the move. Furthermore, the inside of the truck was dirty. I proceeded to clean it at home during which I found a hunting knife and a roll of toilet paper. During the drive, it was raining, and I discovered there was no windshield fluid to clean the windscreen. This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unprofessional. KAMYAR EHave a person responsible for release and return of uhaul. For got to take image of odometer because locked unit before we could. Put key in lock box so hooked for taking image. I believe we were over charged but no proof. So don't have hotel receptionist dealing with uhaul issues.
