Customer service was great but vehivle condition was in not good vondition .
Ishwor TWorse experience ever customer service agent on duty was very unprofessional yelling at customers who parked in front the office they don’t have safe designated area for customer parking I’m talking about parking just to go in the office to pay and complete the rental. The road is gravel very bad as it is a long road to get there. They also share the lot with truck driving school which unsafe for U-Haul customers the U-Haul trucks and other equipment is parked at the back of the lot exactly where the truck drivers are practicing parking. The truck I was given had engine light on I was told not to worry about it my move was from Calgary Alberta to Ontario I told the agent I do not feel comfortable renting a truck with engine light on he then told me to take the truck parked beside which had low gas and was not clean I have pictures to provide. Unfortunately I had to settle for that I also had rented an auto transport which I was told to come back after I load my truck. I was worried about that as I did have fragile items on the truck and with that road being so rough I am not sure if anything broke in my boxes. After loading my truck I came back for the auto transport. That they was the worse service I was provided the same agent who rented the truck to me yelled at me for parking in front of the U-Haul office I was not the only one parked there as there was 3 more customers that parked right beside me. I told the agent to stop yelling at me and that they should provide parking for customers he said that we all should park on the gravel road outside the gate wich was not only far but also unsafe with all the truck driving there (some are just learning to drive) and so much dust they may not even see the vehicle or person walking. This was very unacceptable. The other customers in the office could not believe the agents behaviour he continued to yell at me and the other customers told him I was right and to stop yelling at me at which point I had enough and asked for his name I also let him know I would be complaining to U-Haul he then contacted his manager and spoke in his native language (Indian) so none of us understood what was being said. I went back to the U-Haul truck and waited for over 1 hour for him to come out and connect the auto transport to the truck. During this time his manager called me and said for me to wait in the truck and not to argue with the agent. I could not believe this instead of him asking me what happened and apologizing he was telling me not to argue with his agent. I was never the one who started the argument in the first place. There was no customers left and he still did not come to help me. I called U-Haul and complained about what had just happened the female agent took the notes told me it will be ok if I can try to connect the auto transport by myself My son was with me I have asked him to connect the auto transport unfortunately the lights around the auto transport did not work I had no choice but to take it like that. My friend provided me with a trailer light connector that made the connection work so we can have lights around at night. My son got to Ontario and returned truck and auto transport yesterday. Today I had the area manager call me to find out what has happened I explained to him. He said he will look into it and apologized. However from the conversation I had with him I gathered he already was aware of the parking problem and told me the designated parking for customers was same area where the U-Haul trucks are parked which is far at the end of the lot and in the same area where the truck drivers are learning how to park. I feel I was not provided the proper customer service by U-Haul agent/manager as I did have to clean the truck myself and attach the auto transport by myself i feel I should be compensated for the bad customer service provided to me and the unnecessary added stress. I have rented trucks storage rooms and auto transport (you can check my account) I spent over $20,000 already in rental alone from U-Haul. I do hope you look into this and get back to me. That location should not be operating it’s very unsafe.

. TThe trailer I rented did not have a leg post to raise and lower trailer, There was marker lights out All the tires were under inflated,
