Very disappointed. My reservation was for a location in Rehoboth Beach, DE. A got a message the evening before around 9:00pm stating I had to get the equipment in Georgetown which is 35-45 minutes away. I drove from New Jersey Saturday morning and tried to call the location from 8:00am till 10:00am and nobody picked up the phone. I waited close to an hour while the employee talked to a customer in Spanish. I was never asked what I was there for or apologize for the wait. Once I got to the window she said she didn’t have a truck for me. I said that I was told my equipment was at this location. I told her I needed a truck. While I was talking to her a couple came back in and told her the truck she rented them was too small. They told me they walked in and didn’t have a reservation and she rented a 15ft truck. The same size I had a reservation for. I was extremely upset because if they did not come back in I would’ve been without a truck. The girl was very rude and not apologetic. I am very disappointed in the customer service.

This has nothing to do where I dropped off the truck that I could not wait to be done with it. The problem started with the central booking and so-called customer service in Colorado. The woman on the end of the phone was just TERRIBLE IGNORANT and should never be in their positions. Ana the manger was worse than Christina who did the bait and switch and then refused to speak to us. If U haul hires people like them I want nothing to do with the company.
Margaret JThe young man did not understand how to connect the trailer. I had to tell him multiple things. Then early in my trailing I stopped at a stop sign and the trailer popped off the hitch. I was able to connect myself to get me to u-Haul neighborhood dealer in Lewes. Andy was wonderful. He not only hitched the trailer correctly. The brake lights were not working after the young man told me they were and he replaced the wire on the trailer. He was amazing, but that’s not where we got the trailer obviously. Then I incorrectly dropped it off at West Allegheny in Philadelphia. Versus Allegheny West, which was confusing. After dropping it off, I receive multiple calls telling me I had not dropped off the trailer. On Monday the young lady told me she would take care of that. On Tuesday young man called asking when I might be dropping the trailer off, but I explained to him the situation. And he did finally take care of the drop off confirmation. So obviously it was not a good experience. Thank you.
