Our rental was a one way from Vacaville CA to Carmichael CA. I have a receipt that says so, yet Nate at the Carmichael branch said my contract states round trip. Nate said we owe an additional amount that exceeds our rental and my only recourse is to have the Vacaville branch clear it up. Frankly, his tone was pompous and a poor reflection on U-Haul. I used to be a regular, satisfied customer but not so much anymore.

Joshua GArrived at location and guy at the desk said everything was down and to just return truck and not deal with app. Went under 70 miles no money was returned and now states that I owe 70 dollars on top of the 140 I paid
RYAN BThey were rude and called me four letter words when I returned the rental. The fuel line was cut which has happened at this location prior. The gas station next door reported that it happens regularly and they tried to blame me. They told me the truck was 3/4 full and when I pulled out in the truck it was less than half full. I immediately returned and let them know. The guy at the counter asked me what do I want him to do? I said change the contract. He was angry which leads me to believe he knew there was an issue. He tried to say I left the property so it wasn't true. I returned within 3 minutes so there was no way I used that much gas. The truck was parked on my property which is gated and I only drove less than 15 miles using the truck. When I went to fill it the gas went everywhere. The gas station attendant came out and stated he witnessed their trucks having fuel lines cut regularly so people siphon the gas. Their trucks are not secured so anyone can get to them. When I returned the truck and stated I was not responsible for the issue the owner called me an f ing bitch and told me to return his f ing truck from the gas station..I wasn't sure if it was safe to drive so I walked next door to notify him..I called Uhaul and filed a complaint and was assured the regional manager Johnny would call me to address the situation. I never heard a word. There is no circumstance that a customer should be spoken to the way I was spoken to at this dealer Moon Tires. I rented a uhaul from another location and had a much different experience.
