had to call uhaul and ask for a different drop off. man was rude obnoxious and couldn't care less about the customer. moving is stressful enough without adding a bottom feeder, low life jerk into the process. having said all that the call to uhaul fixed the problem and the man at the new drop off location was professional, friendly, helpful and a great ambassador for your company,

The associate did not advise that he signed me up for insurance. He provided me two pieces of paper and sign here. No explanation of the fees. I did not realize it until I was already on my way.

Location was suppose to open at 9 am. We had moving help lined up at 9:30. Two door bells and two phone numbers got no results. A person came up and went inside but no attendant came out to help. About 9:20 got some help but it seemed we were too much trouble. BTW several days later we rented from Mike's in Cedar Bluff and it was a pleasant experience.

I asked for a 15' rental and all they had was a 26' rental. This was a much bigger truck than I wanted or needed. I feel I should receive a $50 guarantee payment since what I contracted for was not what I received. I am renting a small trailer tomorrow, so can I have this applied to this rental?



The back of truck was dirty .but we cleaned it .But all Else. Was good . and we thank you .

The owner screamed at me for parking in the only place that allowed enough room for a 17 foot truck. He was extremely hateful and I will NEVER do business with him again. I have always used Uhaul and will continue, but I will spread the word about my horrible experience!

Very frustrating to be told your unit is available at one location only to have that changed 70 miles away at last minute. Which I refused then be told a unit was available near where I needed. WHO IS THE CUSTOMER??? ME OR UHAUL???



we did not do a walk around inspection. Windshield wiper blade on passenger side needed to be replaced.There were no moving blankets available at this location or the one I was sent to. We had damage as a result of no blankets. I was told that them location I was sent to had 50ve blankets they had none. I was not very happy with this.



The truck was very dirty both inside and out. And the interior lights and one of the lights on top weren't working. They did not check anything on the truck to make sure it was in working order before my mother left, they didn't even walk out there with her. He just handed her the keys and the hand trucks and sent her on her way. We almost had to pay for these issues even though they weren't our fault but fortunately the person at the place we dropped it off at was super nice and helped us sort it all out!

Could use better signs/directions for after hours truck return. Fortunately, a manager/employee came out on a balcony and provided verbal directions about where to park the truck & deposit the key.

My experience with this recent U-Haul was TERRIBLE!!!!! I cannot fault the Cedar Bluff site as the sole disappointment, however, it was MOST unsettling not to have a receipt "because the printer needed a new toner cartridge and wouldn't print". My RESERVED trailer from the Odenville location was rented and when I called, I was directed to the site 61 miles away!!! This on top of a 6 hour trip to SC, so I spent 2 hrs. on the road to correct U-Haul's mistake-miserable and unacceptable!!!

This is the second time I have dealt with this guy. He is a jerk. He's rude. He didn't walk me to the truck to inspect it at all. He wanted me to sign contract, when I said I want to see the truck first he said its a Uhaul truck as usual. Me and my family walked to the truck alone, took pics, including gas and mileage counts. He never stepped out of his so called "office". First time I used the guy, my Credit card was charged twice. It happened in 2007, so I can't remember what I did then. I will not recommend him for Uhaul at all. I would go somewhere else. There is an auto service shop down the street in Centre (which is where I wanted to go) and I would recommend them over this idiot in Cedar Bluff. UHAUL NEEDS TO CHECK ON HOW HE SERVICES PEOPLE UNDER THE UHAUL NAME. I am sure you'll find issues.

I was not impressed by the experience and would probably not recommend to a friend/family member. Online you gave the option of having coverage but person at pickup location did not discuss coverage with me...he just put it on order and didn't ask! Which to me was like buying something and not being told by the salesperson that they had added (without your knowledge or discussion) a service that you didn't have to have or pay for!!!! U-haul charged me about $40 extra when I didn't have to have this coverage and could have opted to pay for any damages incurred! I felt I was ripped-off by rep.



Close it down and move it somewhere else.



The truck I ordered was not available. No one called me to warn me. I drove an hour to pick it up. I was given another truck ( much larger, but used more gas) the oil light was on. The employee only traded the equipment for a third truck after I called my local store to report my experience. I was there for about 2 hours.

Make sure the equipment is clean, make sure the supplies requested by the customer are available,make sure the uhaul agent is knowledgable and helpful. "After my experience at this uhaul location if it can be avoided i will never rent any equipment from uhaul again"



Operator seemed more concerned with closing than with me having a truck that would not start. They also did not have equipment I had requested. He did have blankets.
