The truck we rented had. I power steering. I had to add power steering fluid to the reservoir, the brakes were in need of replacing as you had to stand on them as hard as you could to get the truck to stop. (I’m 6’ 240lbs) but the situation only required a single 1 mile trip to unload. Unfortunately a power hungry HOA president took the opportunity after we got the Uhaul cleaned out and parked it at the end of the culdisac at midnight the night before we were going to return it and called uhaul saying it was abandoned the next morning early and had it towed. That is an issue we will deal with him but we have an issue with UHaul on why we were not notified or called and asked about this. The truck WAS NOT abandoned, had been cleaned out for return the following day and had been parked at that location no more than 8 hours. Why was the customer not called and asked about this?
gregory sI would recommend you discontinue your ties with Quick Stop. This location gives U-Haul a bad name. This was a liquor store, cigarette store, convenience store, gas station that happened to have a U-Haul trailer. There were no visible sign's of a U-Haul location in the store. It took me almost an hour to get my rental because the lone worker constantly left checking me in to wait on other customers that were buying items from the liquor/cigarette/convenience store/gas station. I would have given the location 0 stars but the option was not available.
Duane PThe trailer I had once had an accident in the past. It was not correctly repaired as it tracked a little off and the right rear door did not close without some coaching. I could see where a shop used dent pullers to straighten certain areas.
DOUGLAS WElectrical connection caused major issues to my display and lights.
