I would never recommend U-Haul. I called and reserved a trailer they said I would be able to use for what I needed to haul a UTV I asked for a car trailer but they gave me a box trailer I drove a total of 690 miles was unable to use the trailer call customer service they would not exchange for a proper trailer so I came home without my UTV I had to pay for it and then make the trip again with a different trailer U-Haul is wrong for what they did to me then they charged me for the trailer I was unable to use very very very poor customer service. U-Haul should be ashamed of themselves.

Brad was super nice and helpful. The other lady was rude. The uhaul truck stunk like a sweaty person sat in there for a few days with all of the windows up and ran the heater in the summer. It was puke worthy stench. Truck on the outside was filthy. Windshield was covered with dead bugs! Transmission for truck was failing. Truck was having difficulty shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third.
Wash the vehicle. Air bag light on. Poor customer service
Make sure equipment is working properly and Accommodate your customers when you wronged them
The van was filthy. The fuel level was very low. Thankfully I wasnt going far this time. Renting a piece of equipment youd expect it to be fueled and clean especially given the times we are living in.
I rented the uhaul becouse supose they will give me a free month on the rent of one storage, and when I was loud they told me not, And I called to costumer service and nobody can helps me

Having the truck I reserved would be a great start. I needed a truck with a ramp and previous renter did not return it. Had to use a van. Not happy about that... no discount just take this van or don't rent from us.
Notify customers of trucks not being available.As well as not saying over the phone that they'll apply discounts towards thing for the troubles and then say they can't apply a discount.
The vehicle was super clean and the person who helped me get the U-haul was great as well

When I arrived it took about 45 mins to leave even with the online check in. I was given the wrong truck at first, and when the clerk tried to give me the info for the truck I was assigned she could not locate the keys, then had no info on the code for the lock, keeping my help waiting. However, Truck was in good condition.

I had to spend an extra $20 on mileage because my pickup location was force changed to another location 20 miles (round trip) farther than my original requested location. The equipment that I reserved wasn't in the truck at pickup. Specifically, I requested 12 pads and 1 appliance dolly and only 6 pads were included. I called customer service to take off the charges for the dolly and furniture pads, and she did, but then told me I had to go to another location to pick up the items that were not included, which I didn't do because it was cutting into my reservation time. I was also told that I could drop off the truck at the location nearest my house, to save on mileage costs but when I talked to the nearest location, they said I had to return it to the pickup location after all. I understand that mistakes are made and some situations, like the pickup location being changed due to lack of availability, are out of Uhaul's control, but it's not right to cause the customer to incur additional costs and take time out of their reserved time (which we pay for) to correct them.
The gentleman who helped me was super friendly and extremely fast and efficient. Went out of his way to make me feel welcome and explained the process perfectly. Great experience!!
Everything was great. Check in and return were pretty easy. I would suggest that there should always the option to check in with a person. While I did not have to many issues with the online checkin process, some people who are not necessarily tech savvy may need some help.
The site only had self service available to pick up truck but it was in an area with extremely poor cell service and did not have wifi capabilities. It made the self service process take a very LONG time. It would have been nice to have wifi or at least to do in person check in/out.
The problem is with the website. It is ridiculously unclear, difficult, and lengthy. The representative onsite did NOTHING to assist me in navigating this substandard website. Next time I'll use Ryder.
The smart phone process is really annoying. Takes too much time. Prefer the face-to-face customer service process.
When lights and break lights were checked by provider he told me they were good. After getting on our trip to Wyoming my husband who stopped for gas and then caught up with us said my blinkers were opposite. Don't appreciate being told I was good to go and then find out after getting into Neveda the lights were wrong.

I was overcharged for mileage when I returned the truck. Due to Covid the pickup process is done online it was very confusing I unfortunately did not take a picture of the miles I have rented before but when I picked up I dealt with an actual person. I did call customer service and open a case but who knows if anything will be done to solve my issue. For the meantime I was over charged around $45. If I don't get this issue resolved I will never rent again and will make sure everyone I know aware of this I am even thinking of calling Channel 3 call Curtis I have seen him get issues resolved for other people.
I was overcharged for services. When I called to see why all I was told was they just went through the prompts to charge me and didn't notice they were over charging me . And since they're not an actual U-Haul I would have to call customer service for U-Haul to get a refund .

It would be mighty helpful if the rental initiation could be fully established and completed via a desk top or laptop computer. It took me and my wife over two hours to finalize our truck rental via our smart phones while we were parked behind our reserved truck.
