Tell me about the charge for not folding blankets. Drop off place chastised me for not folding blankets and then asked me to drop cash through the door slot so a "local" could be paid to fold the blankets I rented. If I had KNOWN about it ahead of time I would have done it myself. All of the pick up discussion focused on gas tank levels and insurance but nothing was even mentioned about blanket folding.

Salesman last Sunday told me I would owe 389.00 today when I returned truck. When I got there today I was told 900.00......big difference

I had to drive back and forth to my house twice due to me paying in cash with a cash deposit. The clerk said I needed a credit card on file. I gave him 2 valid credit cards which he said he couldn't accept. Then I gave him the amex debit card I originally reserved the truck with and he said he couldn't accept it. I thought the policy was $100.00 to rent a truck and pay in cash at check out. He said I had to pay the full estimate of the charges of the rental in advance, I had $100 in cash on me and then had to drive back home to get more cash. When I gave him the credit cards he mentioned "capital one credit card, I don't know, we accept major credit cards". Huh? I don't understand. I thought a major credit card was an active valid credit card. The demeanor of the entire staff at this location is dry and unwelcoming. Changes are needed sorely. I didnt feel like a valued customer spending $181.00 of my hard earned money. Also, I had to give him the name of my employer, address and phone number. The more I think of the experience, the more I regret spending any money there. The only way I can change my opinion to consider doing business there again is to refund me a significant portion of the money I spent. Right now Uhaul SUCKS to me.

I was very impressed with the store's appearance, cleanliness, and operation. Mr. Martin is very professional, and it shows in the way he operates his business.



I only had one problem with this uhaul company and that is when I got the truck they put an different amount of gas on the paper then it was in the truck and they charged me for it. I only went 5 miles, I feel that was not fair and it was a lessen learn for the next time I rent a truck from Uhaul.

I rented January 28, 2017 from the U-Haul Moving & Storage at South Blvd 5108 South Blvd, Chlt, NC 28217 & was refunded as soon as rental was returned. This particular location states it will take 5 days causing me to owe my bank for other transactions. I am not pleased with this and will never rent or recommend family or friends to come to this location!!

Never had a problem with UHAUL until today February 24,2017. I will never do business with this location again and I will definitely not recommend this locatio to friends, next time I will go to PENSKE. You definitely get what you pay for.



Danielle & Clayton went above and beyond to help me get all my equipment at one location instead of me driving to pick up tow dolly at another location. This way I could get on the road very early next morning. They were both very friendly and outgoing. As far as next morning when i picked up my equipment the next lady i delt with was not friendly at all. I didnt get her name though. Got to my truck and the appliance dolly wasn't in back of truck so I had to go back and find her. She saw me coming back and just jumped up in another truck and carried on a conversation like I wasn't even standing there. It took another employee to ask me what I needed. So next day its time to get on the road and I pay Uhaul the fee to hook my car up. $22 to hook my car to tow dolly after paying $350 to go one way 4 hrs away with insurance purchased. Im pretty sure Curtis is who hooked the car up. He also was nice and helpful to me but around halfway through my trip I checked the straps and all was well but by the time I made it to my destination I jumped out of car to find a strap came completely off the drivers side tire. So no idea how long i drove with only one strap holding my car. So happy no one including me and my kids were hurt by this. Was really upset when I saw this because I had to pay for this service and ended up re strapping my own tire to get back to the Uhaul location in S.C to hurry up and get my car off! I also have never had leaking oil for the life of my car and when I took my car off tow dolly there was oil on dolly and under my car. Can't say the tow did this but Im sure it did. All in all Danielle and Clayton were awesome but not to happy about dangerous situation I was in and will not know what caused oil leaking until i make it to a mechanic.

The truck I had was making a very disturbing noise when i reached 35 to 40mph I thought it was going to break down on me. Those trucks should be test driven and maintained often.

The people was fine. However, my truck was not and I lost 4 hours of my time due to truck not starting. It cost me money as I had other assisting with the move. Therefore I feel that I should be fully refunded my money. Simply because it cost me time and money. My overall experience was horrible. However again the people were showing their concern for my inconvenience so I appreciate the customer service

Female employee was disrespectful and disregarded me as a customer, the manager took his time to come out to floor and resolve my rental and issue with employee. It took 1 1/2 to be able to rent truck and I would fire that fe,ale and manager for the customer service they provided!

The customer service was fine, but there was a total mix up on the charges. I received two or three different set of charges and still think I was overcharged for 6 pads. It was like one hand didn't know that the other one was doing. I dealt with Jake and Curtis- the first time. Jake over the phone. Curtis let the mover add to my credit card without my consent. This was after I had already signed the contract. Very unhappy with this. This was my first time dealing with Uhaul and hopefully my last.
