I was overcharged...The amount I was quoted was not what I was charged....I was quoted $383 total with the tow dolly being $44...When I picked the truck up...I was charged a total of $567 and was charged $151 for the tow dolly...The staff was not very helpful....Manager assured me he would assist me only to disappear once I returned...No one knew where he was and no one attempted to reach him...Staff had me waiting for over an hour to get the car dolly on the truck...

The fella I returned the trailer to who checked me out was terribly rude of course I'm not a black guy so it's understandable but he also threatened me because I wouldn't do his job for him which is backing a trailer into a specific spot. So now instead of rent again this weekend from the same store where I am treated bad I will find somewhere else to rent and I will also leave a nice glowing review on Google maybe even Facebook

First problem, the person that greeted me seemed rude. He gave off the persona, I’m better than you, What do you want? It was not the manager who had a black shirt on but it appeared to be the individual @ middle register. I had to plead my case that I did not break the seal for furniture cover. She did not charge me but she made feel like it was my fault that I did not know about the seal.

I rented a van to use for just a few hours. I was NOT told the van doors automatically locked after a certain amount of time. The keys were on the dash and both of the windows were up. I was locked out. The location never answered the phone. Uhaul Roadside Assistance was not very helpful but GMAC Roadside Assistance eventually made it to my location to unlock the door. I've rented many vehicles from Uhaul and I never ever had this happen to me. I've never had or heard of a vehicle automatically locking. I can't believe I was not told about that very important detail. My timetable was delayed by over an hour. I highly recommend the staff inform every customer about the automatic door locking feature. I am not happy. I will not rent from this location again due to the lack of detailed information and not so great customer service. I felt I was an inconvenience to the staff. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I used this location 2 and 1/2 years ago and WOW what fantastic, professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable people there who helped us. Since that time I have told anyone & everyone about our experience........Until this past weekend. We went to pick up our truck and waited 30 minutes - which to me - previously working in the corporate world understood there are times you need to wait. The employees, Carlos and another guy and young gal were very good with customer relations. We went to our destination and when we opened the back the truck was infested with cockroaches. The gentleman explained to me he had been a pro exterminator prior to being in a partnership with this moving company. The company owner took the truck back but they gave us a smaller one because they didn't have another on the lot. When he got back his partner told him the everything wouldn't fit - and he was right! I am disabled with spinal damage from a girl who was talking on her phone who ran into the back of us into 2 lanes of incoming traffic. Just that quick and my 30 year medical career was over. I am on such a limited amount each month I stopped eating to try to save money only ending up in the hospital twice. The movers were in my price range & even better when I told them I wanted to come back to U-Haul. It has taken over 8 months to save for this move as I was told to move to a ground floor apartment or a senior home. ( MY doctor of 15 years knew I would believe I would be back to work in no time) We worked very hard in the heat. The movers even asked me to stay put. It was late afternoon & they hadn't eaten all day & went to get something quickly. When we departed from U-Haul that morning the movers said we would not get insurance but it came up on our bill anyway. We stopped & spoke to Carlos- he said they could not remove it right then but when we returned the truck. He wrote this on the bottom of our paperwork for us. When we returned, again the employees were great to talk to but our bill had been doubled. The mover questioned this and they called for a woman named Isis. She was so rude that the mover almost whispered "calm down" 3 times to her. Then a call came in & she had the woman on speaker phone and was extremely unprofessional and rude to that woman. She came back to us speaking to us as if we were children telling us we were late bringing the truck back (we were) and that was when she was very belligerent & the mover quietly said "calm down, calm down." She, in the same manner said she was calm. She said she called my number and left a voicemail. I don't carry a cell phone in the heat and we were not checking the time constantly. I have met some unpleasant people before but she told them all. The woman she had been speaking with that mentioned hung up. On top of all this she said she was not refunding any insurance money even though we showed her what Carlos wrote. She said she

I stopped in to rent a truck and car trailer at 1730, continued to class and came back to pickup the truck and trailer at 2130 only to discover that the truck had no ball/hitch. I called the customer service number who tried to help me by telling me to look under the drivers seat but all I found was the GM's number. So I call him, Curtis Martin. He was kind and respectful but I have a huge problem with his recommendatioin at now 2200 hours on the uhaul lot. I had to go buy a ball/hitch because they no longer come with it. Mind you 30 days or so prior I rented a truck/trailer to move my 65 Chevy Impala and it was already hooked up and ready to go and I didn't have to buy a ball/hitch. So now after running to Walmart, I am out in the Uhaul lot trying to hookup a ball/hitch to a truck then back the truck to a trailer and then load my vehicle on the trailer to get home after midnight. Now when I spoke to the 1-800 Customer service young lady she said that I should receive not only a discount but waive the 12 noon turn-in since I could not get my equipment after class as discussed. However, I did not receive neither a discount nor a waiver for a 1 hour late turn-in nor an apology. I would hope that is not how Uhaul does business. As a 28 year Army veteran, I would hope that I receive better service and seeing that I have rented from Uhaul to pull my 65 Impala on 3 occasions for from shop to shop to have it restored and will need to continue atleast 2 more times that I would receive better customer service and that the recorded line of the customer service representative would be monitored in order to provide both the discount and waiver as promised.
