No place to sit while forms were filled out. Not his fault but the previous client was late on their return which put me behind schedule
I was billed improperly. The employee instructed us to drop the truck at a location in Wadesboro. failed to mention the 100 dollar one way fee. I received a text from U haul stating to return the truck to Cheraw, SC. When we did return to Cheraw, we were charged a 50 dollar wrong location fee. the truck originally cost 39.95 for the rental, because the pick up location was changed to Cheraw, the nice folks at U Haul discounted the truck to 29.95. I was charged 39.95 anyway. with some quick math, i was overcharged at least 60.00 dollars and received confusing and inconsistent direction from U Haul on where the truck was supposed to go. When I called Cheraw, SC location to discuss the improper billing. The lady working there stated, she would research it and call me back. It's been one week, and I have not received a return call.

I have rented trucks dozens of times over the years, and have never had one so clean when picked up. Michelle got the paperwork done quickly and correctly at pickup and return. In all, a very pleasant rental experience.

The customer need to be able to pick up uhaul and the place they reserved. Also customer shouldn't have to go to one location to pick up key an another location to get truck. I reserved online and even did the $50 deposit to pick up @ my choice of locations and i should have been able to do so. There was a total of 5 phones to get uhaul after i reserved it. I have used uhaul in the past but, never had these problems. I was very unhappy with the whole experience
The man at the Uhaul in Cheraw SC was very nice in helping me with dropping off the truck asked me how my trip was & if there was anything else he could help me with. I didn't even get a thank you for using Uhaul in NY
Have everyone on site be trained for rental pickups. I had to wait over 30 minutes because the lady went to run errands although I had a reservation for a specific time.
My rental contract number was 23282694. The 26' truck was to be picked up in Florence, SC. Instead, I was informed the day before that I would have to drive 50 miles each direction to pick up the truck. I had made the reservation two weeks before to hopefully avoid any availability problems. I know the reservation says preferred location, but 100 miles and 3 hours is a whole lot different than 5 miles and 30 minutes. I was able to get the truck a day earlier because I had people coming to help at 8:00 AM on the day of the rental. Fortunately I wasn't working so I could take the time. I was promised by your logistics/scheduling department a $50 credit to compensate for gas. I had to call your customer service department about a week later to request that credit (which I did receive). This is a poor way to run a business. I have told many people about my poor experience. Unfortunately for you, most said they were aware of this kind of service. The truck was clean and operated well. For that I was thankful. I believe you need to figure out a better way to treat customers if you want them coming back.

The location was very difficult to locate, even with a GPS. There was inadequate road signage indicating it was a UHaul place. In fact, there were two locations I had to go to to get the truck. I first went to where the actual truck was, but they could not do the paperwork---so down the road I went to a place to do the paperwork (the person there was actually very nice and very professional, so A+ for her part)---then it was back to the place where the truck was. This was all a bit inconvenient, and again the place was hard to find.
Made a reservation at PJP automotive in Cheraw SC. When I went to pick up the truck the owner had already rented it to someone else. Very, very poor customer service. The owner claims he calls me to tell me THE DAY BEFORE my reservation but I have no record, email or phone that he called. Haselden helped me out of a jam and got me a truck at the last minute. They were fantastic to work with.
I'm an old man with a bad back. It would have been nice to have a little help hooking and unhooking. I call the day before pickup to check which place (They have two) When I arrived a the place I was told to go, I had to turn around and go back to the other place. It wasn't far just the point of the left hand does'nt know what the right hand is doing. I ended up leaving a 1/2 hour late. Just made for a bad start. The trailer was great.
The cab of truck was alittle dirty. The lady that rented the truck was very friendly and fast.
I had ordered the truck at my nearest location. Stoped 2 days before and they did not have it on their order for pick up. Called u-Haul and they made me drive 40 miles round trip. Went to nearest gas 1 mile from pick up to fill up and discovered oil was low. Put a quart in then and another latter and then gave slip to return place for re-imbursement and they said I had to go through more hoops to get money back.
The truck and customer service were great. The dolly was in pretty sad shape and was pretty much useless during unloading.
My only conplaint is that the lugnuts were all loose on the trailer I rented. After noticing that one was missing, we checked/tightened the rest of them. Other than that, all was fine.

Very nice lady that received the truck. Did not charge me extra for the extra miles after I complained. Did not charge extra for the gas being short because of the age of the truck and it's lack of accuracy with the gas gauge.
The pickup location indicated at reservation should be the one where the vehicle is picked up. This location was over 30 minutes drive each way, costing more in my time and gas. It was totally unacceptable.
