The furniture pads were not in the vehicle when it was picked up - I needed to go to a new location for them. Additionally, the App was not working and required multiple call to customer service.

The worst rental experience ever. Called the day prior as I saw thsi location had some complaints, representative was very helpful and even called the location to straighten things out. When I got to the location for the mobile pickup, the reservation showed but would not allow me to preceed due to "no equipment rented for this day" or some such nonsense. After being on hold for 30 minutes out in the freezing rain teh rep tells me that she was "updating" my contract, which means changing it completely. The attendant at the gas station said there was a mileage discrepancy on my van and in another 30 minutes he finally figured it out. Had to stand at a gas station and take photos of my drivers license on a box of oil cans. With their mobile app, UHaul wants you to work for them so they don't have to hire people to help you at a counter. Then there were last minute upcharges for insurance and who knows what making a 3 day rental and 200 miles of travel cost almost $400!! This is a terrible, confused and on the cheap company beware.

miranda aI had arranged for movers through U-haul to start at 9:30 am on 3/30 since I had a 9 am pickup reservation. I called Isaac 30 - 40 times beginning at 8 without a response. I texted and sent email messages too. The 10’ truck was not returned until 10:25 am and only 7 of 10 prepaid for blankets were available. Because of the delay, rain started while my son and I were en route to the new location. It was a down pour that should have been avoided. To add insult to injury, the gas tank was quite low, under half full. I am 68 and this was an outrageous experience. How can I get a full refund.
