If I need a uhaul truck in future, I will just visit one of the official uhaul moving and storage locations. I had to wait 30 mins to pick up the 10' truck size I reserved (it was not the truck # I was I supposed to pick up per the pickup/check in steps), it had a low rear right tire and very little gas (so the gas station to get gas and put air in the low tire had to be my first stop--after waiting for 30 mins to pick up the truck) , and the storage area stunk horribly.

I reserved a dolly and of course there was not one in the truck like there was supposed to be. The key was not even locked so anyone could have stolen the truck. The area was sketchy and my reservation was relocated here the day before. I would have gone with a company in a safer area had I been given more notice of the switch.
Elliott MI had one of the worst experience in long time. My reservation was changed without my consent and I didnt receive any notification. When I was talking with customer care agent she was not empathatic of my situation where I didnt receive any updates and now have to go through a big hassel. My problems didnt end with just change of location. The new loation was a closed out location without any proper front store of uhaul. I had to track a person who was looking sheddy and someone who dont work for uhaul. He had long phone call with other guy and didnt aware of my reservation. After more than 40 mins they handover the keys and shared another problem as they didnt have dollys which I requested. So it took me 2 hrs just to pick up the truck and completely messed up my schedule as I had limited window of moving out the stuff. This incurred me additional cost. So, I am requesting complete reimbursement for my charges. Id like to know about next steps and when can I receive reimbursement.
Sagar GThat was the worst location ever. I mean I never have done uhaul before, but I could tell that location wasn't it. Plus the app wasn't working as well as it should. The guy who worked there basically lied to the couple waiting for a truck and said our truck was theirs - we were early. We got it back at 1 when I rented it till 5 or 6 pm. The dollies were not in the truck and made the move even worse and take longer than it should.
