2 things. 1. It was not clear on the website that I could not change the reservation drop-off location once I picked up the truck without having to pay for 3 days of rental fees. This required me to drop off the vehicle at a location 30 miles from my home instead of 3 miles. (I picked it up at this location because it was one mile from where I needed to pick up furniture.) 2. When I came to drop off the truck after hours, it was fortunate that someone in the office was still there. That was because it was not clear where the drop-box was and that the requirements for after-hour drop-off were not available. It was only this morning, with the reception of the receipt that I saw online that I would need to log-on to my uhaul account and drop off the truck. That was never said to me at any point in the process. Communication is important in any business transaction. That was lacking in this one. We did get done what we needed to do with the truck, and we avoided any major issue with this lack of communication, but consider this a "head's up" for next time.

It seams that if you reserve a U-Haul 2 weeks in advance that you should be able to get what you ordered. I reserved a 26 ft U-Haul and a day before the scheduled date I received a call saying they couldn’t get what I requested but had a 20 ft available. The 20 ft U-Haul was to small. Now I still have furniture to move, which puts an unnecessary burden on me. Now that my house sold I have 1 more week left to vacate.

Low tire pressure light was on, truck smelled like cigarette smoke, the plug-in for charging your phone doesn't work. Animal hair on the seats.

Customer service was horrible. The receptionist was not helpful when we had questions in hooking up the trailer to our vehicle. His one reply was "I don't know" to every question asked in regards to the problem. We could not get the brake lights connected properly.After renting the trailer we asked if we could possibly exchange to a uhaul truck and pay for the difference. His response was a flat out no and we would need to pay the full amount! Another customer overheard and was more helpful getting our problem solved then the locations staff! Never renting from here again!

It was awful trying to rent a pickup I had to spend $60 extra because they didn't have one available where I live and couldn't tell me when one would be available sooo I had to drive 60 miles out of my way to rent a pickup. I only needed to drive the pickup about 5 miles to put stuff in storage that is only a few hundred yards from my house! I also had to go to a second location because they didn't have the pickup back at the first one! I am extremely dissatisfied with the rental process! I talked to the regular customer service and also the regional office as well as at least 2 other employees and NO ONE CARED OR ACKNOWLEDGED MY PROBLEM.

I made an apt. a month and 1/2 in advance and I had to travel 3 hours one way to pick up a truck. I picked up a trailer for you in Oakland and they had no idea about it and gave me no paper work on it so when I tried to drop it off in Pasadena they knew nothing about it also so it took a hour at each location to pick up your trailer. So that is 8 hours of my time wasted by your poor planning,

The lady told me I needed to return the truck with 1/4 tank. Apparently it had 3/8 of a tank in it and that was where I was supposed to fill it to. I was in a hurry and couldn't go drive to get more gas. A standard fill level would help.

The customer service here was absolutely horrible. I always take things like poor customer service with a grain of salt because I understand some people just have bad days and we aren't perfect, however these people were downright disrespectful and just rude. On top of their attitude problems they were highly unorganized to the point of failing to take down messageso that stated I would be bringing the uhaul back a day possibly 2 days later than originally planned.
