Have more employees at your locations. The truck was not clean had to clean myself before loading. Employees need to explain that you might be charged a convenience fee for not attaching the auto tow to your car. Not happy with my overall experience.

I scheduled 3 U-Boxes to be set up for me at the Chester Ave location (5 mins away from my apartment). I arrived with a U-Haul truck full of my belongings and was told that they didn’t have the boxes there; instead, they were at the Mayfield Rd/Cleveland Heights location, a ~20 minute drive away. Without complaining, I drove my truck and car to this second location. I found out while setting up the contract that my apartment had returned the wrong driver’s license to me and that I had to drive back to get it—a 40 minute roundtrip instead of what should’ve been 10. The added hour of driving and speaking with staff eventually made us late to return the truck because it had to be returned to the original Chester Ave location. The only saving grace was an incredibly kind and helpful staff at the Mayfield Rd store. They called Chester Ave and explained the lateness for me, so I was only charged for the additional mileage and had to pay a little more for gas when I refueled. Small enough to not complain initially but still an overcharge, all things considered.

I was promised a 10' truck would be available at the original location at Gas City, Cleveland Ohio. Reassured as the date got closer. I ended up having to go to 2 more locations before I did get the one way rental. This was very frustrating to say the least! Promises were broken and no one claimed responsibility; always blaming the "other" location!

I had my reservation confirmed at 10;00 am on 9/28/19 and when I was able to get the Cargo Van around 11:30 am I was at this location around 9:40 thinking to pick up the van by 10:00 and I wasted 2 hours just getting the Key's to my hand . I bought boxes worth more than $150.00 and one of the rep (John) supposed to come and help with the loading and he was no help at all. At the end there was another returned van park behind our rental van and we have to wait another 20-25 mints to find out they cant't find the returned key.When we leave the parking lot it was over 2 hours into our valuable time wasted just renting a van.. If someone wants real evidence need to look at the surveillance cameras recording. This is terrible customer service.

I've reserved a truck with mobile pick up option. When I arrived at the time of reservation and logged in to start the process, it appeared the truck was "not assigned to my reservation and I was instructed to go inside and ask for assistance". People over the counter (or the Internet or the systems they were using) were very slow and didn't care to do anything in order to speed up the process when the line was growing well over 6 customers. As a result I got my truck 30 minutes later than tge pick up time on my reservation. When returning the truck in the afternoon there was a line of 4-5 returned trucks blocking the driveway and a line of people inside waiting to get their trucks checked in. Nobody was there to actually check vehicles and park them in the free spots shortening the line and unblocking the driveway. I parked my truck in one of the free spots and used the online self-return option. Had to re-start the process several times due to being logged out automatically. It took me about 30 minutes to complete the self-return and all the returned trucks were still in the line still blocking the driveway. Needless to say, I will never rent from this location again.

Hiring people who are actually good with customers not just their for a job. Another problem I had was the truck they gave me was infested with roaches and when I brought to their attention he didn't handle the situation seriously or urgently.

This location is understaffed, and it's always a long wait. There is no place for customers to park, even when making reservations in person or during their rental period.

They were supposed to open at 7:00 am but I guess the manager being black was on CPT because he didn’t arrive til 7:30 to open the store. My pick up time was 7:00 am so that threw my schedule way off with him being late. After the return of the truck it was assumed that he was still working by himself because it was three ladies in front of me with this guy standing on his phone as you enter the place, as I was waiting for my turn to be called upon the guy that was on his phone goes behind the register and just sits there I was like WTF he works here, so the GM must of heard me cuz he said smthn to the guy then he comes out to assist us. This location is horrible and I WOULD NOT recommend this location but what I do recommend is new employees!!!??

Arrived at 9 .AM pick up time, 9 people ahead of me and only 1 person working the site. He was trying his best at being a one man show, but I didn't get my vehicle and leave the lot until 10:10 AM. He needed an assistant to take people to their vehicle while he handled all the paperwork and the line of people "standing" for over an hour.

I don’t know if it helps but moving can be expensive U already paying for the truck Replacing the gas and the mileage is extremely high I get paid mileage and the state on pays .55 cents per mile
