The truck was brand new but far from clean inside. The printer did not work at this location, so we did not get a copy of any paperwork at all. We had requested 10 packing blankets that were NOT in the truck and we never received. We registered and paid online but it still took over half an hour to finish the pickup. The computer charged us for insurance that we did not request. They were able to take that charge off the bill but all in all not a good experience.

My experience was a complete cluster. I reserved the truck more than a week ahead of time. My location was changed to completely out of my way. I canceled and made a new one. Same situation. Even after driving to the much further location, my reserved truck was not there. I was given a larger truck for the same price. I would have like a reduction to the mileage charge as I should never have had to rent from so far away. A reservation is a reservation. My reserved truck should not have been rented to someone else who was "supposed to" return it on time and didn't. I hope to never need Uhaul services again. Not a happy customer.

Clean poorly maintained truck Location lacked knowledge of everything

The truck was in good condition, no problems there. The trailer was a different story , the ratchets were rusty and almost froze up solid. We had to oil them until we could get the to work . The tie down straps kept coming loose no matter how tight you tightened them down. The pick up point didn't have anyone to print out the contract and some of them acted like they didn't care. This place in Clinton Mi. will NOT get a recommendation from me.

The first problem with this rental was the lack of communication from UHAUL regarding the location of the truck I was to pick up. I ended up wasting 2 hours of my time having to drive from one end of the county to the other in order to get the truck I had reserved online. All communication from UHAUL had the wrong pickup location listed. Second problem, it too way too long to get checked out as this was a busy gas station. Last, the truck was filthy inside. I had to clean the interior windows, steering wheel and driver's seat before I was comfortable setting out on a 3 hour drive in the truck. I will twice before using UHAUL again.

when i order the truck in adrian mi i expect to pick it up there for 39 dollars instead I have to pick it up in Clinton Mi at a cost of $100 plus mileage.all told total price $145.00 plus 40 dollar gas fill for extra miles will never use your trucks again

Computer is always extremely slow at this location. Once I got home I saw I was charged for insurance I did not ask for .went back to rental location told I would have to contact uhaul, contracted uhaul they said I needed to contact rental location. Terrible customer service. Every time I rent a trailer I select no insurance and every time it is added on to my cost, and pretty much yo to bad so ??

I booked my U-Haul a month in advance for the town I lived in and there was nothing available and was made to drive over an hour to pick up my U-Haul. I am military and was almost late to report to base because of this.

I have reserved two uhauls from this store and both times I go to pick it up they don’t have any record of it. On another occasion the employee could not get the lock box open to get me a key. Poor service and attitudes from the employees.

Being a new place they did a good job. As time goes on they will get better. People weren't sure of ball size and when I reserved it over the phone it wasent the place in Clinton and they had the wrong hrs they were open and didn't say it had to be 4 straight wiring so I had to drive 10 miles to get a 7 round to 4 straight so lights would be on.

Employees working at gas station did not have a great grasp on things. It was clear they were not trained properly, so it was not not their fault. Although we got the truck we were scheduled for and it worked and was kept up nicely, it took far too long when both picking up and dropping off the u-haul. Not as quick of a procress than at other locations.

This is not a criticism. The "below average" rating was because it was just a U-Haul sub station. My truck was one of 3 on the lot after I arrived. The young lady at the gas station was polite and knew her job, even though she was not a U-Haul employee. A customer could expect to get a truck or trailer here, but no supplies.

Clinton location- did not have vehicle cleaned with snow removed or the inside bed of truck was full of debris. We had to clean the inside before we could load our items, otherwise our household items would have been ruined.

To whom it may concern, Yesterday my family and I experience a very inconvenient situation. For our reservations I had chosen Adrian Michigan. Your company sent me a confirmation stating I location I chose was Adrian Michigan. However it wasn't until I got to my location was I told I need to pick up my truck in another city. This location what is a half hour away from the original City chosen. Immediately a representative on the phone was contacted from your company. She proceeded to tell me that my reservation was for another city. She apologized for the inconvenience but did not offered no other solution for us. As I explained to her we were on a tight schedule and it did not make sense to lose an hour in our day only to have to come back to original city after driving an hour. I had came from Ohio making more hours our commute. I also was told I was contacted by U-Haul via text. As I explained to the representative I received no such text. Confirm the number used was told 330 - 217 - 1891. Informed the representative that that was my home number. Was told U-Hauls prefer method of communication is via text. I never heard of anything so asinine all my life. I then went back to my original email confirmation and looked no where on my confirmation does it say relocation to another city. It wasn't until I clicked or my order number did it a pick up in a different city was found. Are you freaking serious? My next step is to blast you on social media.
