They couldn't fix the fact that the prior renter was smoking heavily in the vehicle, but they could have cleaned the cab out significantly better on the sunflower seeds and the couple sticky spots on the middle seat. It sounds like my reservation was messed up or interrupted at the 1st pickup site, so they switched me over to this other location last minute. I assume they didn't have much time and/or notice on the situation.

Paul HI contacted roadside assistance which was a great experience. But my brother and I both drove over 700 miles with no AC in the truck. Pick up was a very rough process because the manager that helped us did not have the pads, did not do a check on the vehicle where he would’ve found that there was a check engine light. Upon driving, like reported there was no AC, but getting to drop off I started hearing a squeal upon moving the vehicle. The check engine light lasted the entire drive so we never knew if the truck was truly going to make it or not.
Richard HThe representative only checked my emergency flasers. That's it for lights. Found out my truck had a blown fuse for the driving lights. (The other light functions worked, but I couldn't drive after dark) I thought it was the trailer that was the problem. Also, one of the wheels/tire was bouncing like crazy when cruising. Very unhappy about this. I've used U-HAUL many times before, and never had an issue. How about a partial refund for a long trip made miserable....
