The whole reservation was confused. They forgot to leave the keys in the appropriate box. They took an hour and a half to get our truck even though we could see it. The reservation was confirmed multiple times and they still didn’t seem to know what was happening.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkMaking sure that the gas gauge was correct and that the text message with information was sent to the correct photo number. I was in a time crunch and didn’t have time to context things. The gas tank was at 1/8 of a tank instead of 1/4 I drove 18 miles and added 4 gallons of gas to bring it up past what it was at and still got a $30 charge.
Elizabeth KThe truck was fine, operated properly, and had plenty of space for what we needed. What was problematic was the human-less experience with the app. It was difficult to use and U-Haul contacting the reference didn't work. My wife, and then later my son, both received texts, responded, and when I contacted the agent which attempting to pickup the truck, said they couldn't be contacted. So something is wrong with the process or the technology. It took 20 minutes to finally pickup the truck. When I've rented from U-Haul in the past, a human had me on the road in just a few minutes. You need to work on this. I won't rent again from a location that does not have people that can expedite the process.

The office was closed at the time so no way to resolve this issue. Took me 15-20 minutes, between the call and troubleshooting, to get the truck when it should’ve taken a lot less
