It took 4hrs of being passed around on phone calls just to be able to pick up this truck that I had reserved a week in advance. Nearly everyone on the 1 800 Go-U-Haul number does not know what they’re doing or talking about. Especially when it comes to reserving a truck for a one-way trip vs in state same location return rentals. Horrid and very stressful experience.

Continue to have at least one person in the office to assist with things needed outside such as identifying which vehicle is being rented etc.
SALLIE LMaintenance on vehicles before renting, the 26’ truck I rented , immediately lost stabiliatrak and ABS 5 mins after enter highway speeds, the steering was so out of alignment that I had to fight the vehicle to stay on the road the entire trip, braking was almost non existent and jerky, th transmission randomly downshifted and overreved the engine the entire trip, I had to release the gas pedal and allow the engine to decelerate to get the transmission to shift back into proper gear. Resulting in having to travel in the slow lane most of my trip from South Carolina to Florida. This is totally unacceptable

John DI was unable to drop my Uhaul because of a computer glitch. I had to go back multiple times and the area did not feel safe.
