I needed to talk the the guy that rented the van to me about 20 minutes after leaving the rental location. I called the number on the contract and was routed to a central calling location. I was told that I couldn’t talk to my person and had to let the central people help me or they could ask my person to call me at a later time. It was infuriating!!! The excuse was that it allowed people to get their work done...I had to drive all the way back and there were no other customers there nor had they been busy since I had left!!! I lost about an hour over something that could have been handled with a simple phone call. I’ll think again before using Uhaul.

Staff was excellent , punctual and efficient. Only negative misleading sign on vehicles from the road . Says 19.99 for in town rental but 70 miles max coming to $90 plus gas ..... misleading .

Same story. The paperwork said to drop off at one location and I received a text to drop it off at another. The manager accommodated us and thanked us for our business.

Truck we received had a taillight that was out. We had to make a 90 mile trip out of state, because of this safety issue I had to follow behind the Uhaul truck the entire trip. The personnel at the Two Notch rd location were very helpful though so this wasn’t on them.

I tried to use the app to return the rental after hours. Not sure where the problem was, but I was unable to associate the rental that I had done with the app. I did download the app after I had checked the equipment out of the store. Perhaps that was a problem. So, I was told at the store that I needed to use the app to return after hours. However, when I called after hours, I spoke with an operator who instructed me to drop off the equipment anyway, without using the app. So, a little confusion in the process. Overall, though, a good rental experience, with only this one hiccup.

Owner of store was extremely nice and courteous in dealing with a very difficult customer the morning I picked up the truck. Customers main issue seemed to be centered around the time she had scheduled pickup (8:00 am) and the actual store opening time of 9:00 am. Perhaps verify your reservation system to ensure a customer cannot reserve a vehicle pickup time that is outside of the store operating hours.

1ST time I ever had an issue with uhaul and a manager that was as rude in the business world that ive ever met have already reported issue to corporate after he had his staff move us 4 times to a different piece of crap trailor which we did have a problem with while traveling never again wow has this company changed

Two people were working 9/26 when I came to get my reserved truck for an out of state move. This was about 1:15pm. A black female and a black male. When almost finished with my paperwork, the black male came over, switched the keys out to a different truck. Upon inspecting the truck, it had 147k miles on it, was obviously an in town truck. I immediately declined to take the truck for a 13 hour 900 mile journey. All of a sudden, he comes up with a 26' with 33,000 miles. Much newer, more fuel efficient, etc. Why he tried doing this to me I don't know, but it smacked of racism. I've lived in Columbia for 40 years, have used U-Haul and this specific location multiple times. Maybe he just wanted the truck out if his inentory? I'm aware that certain trucks are used locally or long distance. Also, the truck was filthy inside. So....I'd enjoy hearing the results of your inquiry on this matter.
