The clerks did not go over anything on the tow dolly. I guess they assumed I knew all about it. Luckily I have used them many times. They did not go out with me to hook it up or go over any damage on the unit. The wheel straps were lying on the ground and the safety chains to secure the car to the dolly were as well. I had to get that all setup myself before leaving. The staff was friendly though.

When I arrived to pick up the equipment, there were at least 25 people in line. The process to get in and out of the store with the appliance dolly took over an hour. When I dropped the appliance dolly off it took over 20 minutes for someone to check it back in. I didn't think any one was even at the store even though the doors were unlocked.

Ensure you check your trucks for possible roof leaks from the rain. Brandi was great to work with and helped to resolve the issue.

Mileage calculated from location to drop off was 8 miles to short. It would of been nice to actually make it without having to pay extra mileage fee. Seemed to be nothing anyone could do about the charge, nice way to sneak out an extra few dollars from customers.

I tried calling 3 times after I dropped something in the store in Concord. Not once did they call me back. This was a critical medical device the size of a pager worth $10,000.00 I will NEVER recommend this location. They don’t have any courtesy to return any calls even when you explain why and how urgent it is. Thankfully I did get it back. The guy in Mint Hill was the opposite. So nice, polite and excellent customer service.

I rented a 26' truck on 3/17/18. There were no long lines, no issues, and picking up and dropping off the truck was quick and easy. However, the next day when I received my emailed receipt, I noticed I was charged for 2 days of rental, not 1 day when I returned the truck timely. When I first called for a refund, they told me I'd receive the refund in 7 to 10 business days. After 4 calls to U-Haul every 2 weeks for a period of 8 weeks, I have yet to receive my refund. Their response was they haven't been able to reach the customer. I verified the telephone number they had for me, and I told them I had not received any messages from them or I would have called them right back.

This uhaul site is one I’ve used for a while. My experience didn’t have anything to do about the people because the people working there are wonderful. I rented a uhaul for a specific reason and used the movinghelp.com that is advertised on every uhaul truck. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and needed help moving. The ONLY reason I rented a uhaul was because all the movers had to do was load/unload while I drove the uhaul. After speaking with the company (who I used on movinghelp.com, promoted by uhaul) they didn’t show up the next day. I called and called and attempted to get ahold of them. They had great ratings but never called or showed up. I couldn’t use the uhaul because I can’t move anything by myself. I was too upset to even complain that day to request a refund from uhaul. They told me “because I drove it” I had to pay for it. If I would’ve known the people wouldn’t show up, I wouldn’t have driven it. Let alone, even rented it.

The location is very convient and the location and equipment was clean. However, customer service was terrible. The cashier. Was very rude and complained about being "slammed by customers" while she checked me out. I felt like I was a burden to her by being there. I didn't feel welcomed at all.
