MANDA SI was told at pick up I wouldn't have to bring the truck back to that location. He asked where I needed to drop it off. I told him Hickory, N.C. The next day when I wanted to drop it off in Hickory, I couldn't and had to drive it out of my way and was charged extra miles. This is a scam and I will not be using uhaul again. I'm switching to Penske. At least there I known I'll be paying 200 dollars. I have rented from uhaul before and drove a truck from Alabama to Virginia, and from Virginia to North Carolina and the price difference wasn't that much more when all I had to do was drive the truck on this occasion to Hickory, load it up and drive 5 minutes down the road to unload.
REBECCA SToo far from my original reservation location (30) minutes. My reservation Pick-Up was moved (3) multiple times causing me to call to verify causing additional stress.
JAIME RU-Haul could’ve chosen a better drop off location for me considering it was over 25 miles from my home! There are about 10 drop off locations within 5 miles of my house. Why U-Haul chose this one I don’t know.
