Four Wide Storage was very accomadating and helpful. I would reccomend them again. Was disappointed in U Haul for making me go so far out of my way for this particular trailer.

Customer service was excellent. Vehicle condition was great and clean. No issues during the trip BUT the RADIO did NOT pick up any FM so it was a lonely ride! I had to talk to myself for the whole trip!
Dane JVery disappointing experience. Store opens at 9AM (Saturday); my truck reservation is at 9AM. Employee drives in at 8:59AM to open store. I reserved a 15' truck and was concerned that it was too small for my one bedroom apt move. Turns out the truck was not inspected by UHAUL but was given to me with 5 large security camera boxes inside filled with foam packing insulation. This was not discovered until I arrived at my apt to begin my move. Called the store to ask what to do with the boxes and was told to throw them away. Was told by Michael they just took in the truck yesterday and did not inspect it. Michael indicated that he was sorry about this issue and he would speak to his manager about it and discount the rental. These were large boxes and when stacked together were as large as a dresser. Where was I to throw them? So I left them at my apt and retrieved them once the move was completed. I completed my move by 3:25 PM and logged a total of 35 miles in the truck. Before returning the truck, I went to the gas station to fill the tank with gas and it took 8.1 gallons ($29.42) to fill the tank. How is this possible when I only drove 35 miles? The contract stated that the tank was full. And I observed that the fuel gage indicator was at the first line closest to the "F" when I picked up the truck. Any reasonable person would assume that that means the tank is full. NO this is not the case with this truck. The tank is FULL when the indicator dial is well before the line and the "F". I only found this out when I filled the truck with gas to cover the amount of gas I used. I then returned the truck to the drop off location. I contacted the store first thing Monday morning and again spoke to Michael who told me that his manager would be in the office later that morning and would talk to him about the boxes and the gas discrepancy. Michael never called me back. I called him at the end of the day and he told me that he spoke to his manager. He offered a $25 dollar discount. I explained that the gas alone was over $29 dollars for only traveling 35 miles. I asked for a 50% discount. He said he's not authorized b/c he only owns/manages the long-term storage and not the UHAUL business. My total rental cost was $100 and I was/am willing to pay half that but my request was not considered. Michael offered an additional $10 off stating that this was coming out of his pocket. I accepted his offer and am waiting for the refund to my credit card. Moving day is stressful (weather, movers, packing, etc) and all of this stuff with UHAUL was completely avoidable. Yes things happen, Michael was pleasant enough; however, three phone calls and now write a negative review. Disappointing experience.
Carolyn HThe attendant was very helpful and redpectful
Mark MShouldn’t have to disconnect a trailer and put it away. Should have a drop point that handles everything.
